Yeah the only really great part about Overlord is Atlas Station. Everything else is pretty bland.
Going by overall personal enjoyment, it's Shadow Broker, Arrival, then Overlord.

Arrival was basically all bland for me, neither the batarian prison nor the base did anything for me. None of the dialogue really stood out for me either, except maybe the last bit with Harbinger.
Overlord stood out with the genuinely creepy atmosphere and the fantastic ending. But its all really a matter of preference, I don't dislike arrival I just like other parts/DLC more. Other people feel the reverse, it comes down to what you like I think.
oh man, I finally unlocked drell vanguard. It's clearly much more of a niche class than human vanguard, who just runs in and pummels everything they can find to death.
Holy crap I'm so squishy. I'm squishy on BRONZE. The pull+charge mechanic is nice, but you can't pull people with shields up anyway, and against anyone else you don't really need the extra damage... Well, it is pretty glorious versus guardians. I wonder if pull will work with removing cannibal armor, it talked about how cannibals will use their dead buddies as extra armor in one of the tooltips. And group pull would wreck husks... but then so would pretty much any AoE biotics.
Will pull work against people with armor? I kind of get the feeling drell vanguard is not particularly suited for fighting Cerberus.

I imagine being squishy won't matter nearly as much against Reapers, since most of them have no range attacks.
Man, the three days between it coming out in the states and my preorder arriving in Norway are going to be the worst.
Although, if MP progress is reset on the 5th, perhaps I can play the demo with you guys from the 6th onwards and have it count towards my Shep.

Playing the PC version then the Xbox version is a bit frustrating.
Just missing those headshots and slightly off shots with my sniper.

So how long are the demo multiplayer servers going to be up for? I mean after the full game gets released. Or are they being shut down on day 1 of release?

Any word if playthroughs of ME 1 & 2 will affect ME 3 gameplay or storyline?
They absolutely do. To a more significant degree than in ME2. An early review has said that this is one of the strongest aspects of the game. The decisions you have made so far make much more meaningful changes to the narrative and to the game itself, determining who joins your squad, who is alive or dead, what missions you go on and what weapons you have at your disposal.
It is highly recommended - if you haven't already got a saved game to import - to play through and make the choices you want. Or you can grab a save that is suitable to what you want from masseffectsaves.com
Overlord, Kasumi, Shadow Broker, Arrival.. I liked them all, honestly
Overlord because of the
god damn amazing ending. seriously.
Kasumi because it had a somewhat
oceans eleven feeling and the character of kasumi is interesting
Shadow broker had many moments that were awesome
Seeing the brokers ship, liara becoming the shadow broker
And arrival.. well
dead batarians! no but seriously, that was a hard thing to do. Also more of the main storyline, so of course it's awesome. Like arriving at the base, seeing the countdown... and realizing it's only TWO DAYS
It's interesting playing the effects of a ME1 run I did so long ago I can't remember it.
Like, seeing the reporter at the Citadel, and realising that I didn't punch her that run. So I reloaded the game and tried talking to her for once, and you know what? The renegade response is even more satisfying. I definitely like playing this Shep. She's a hard-ass professional who will do what it takes to advance humanity's position in the galaxy.

Yeah the trial's been removed. If you didn't play Arrival, the mission was instead completed by a team of crack Alliance soldiers, who perish almost to a man (which will impact your Galactic Readiness score). Shep has been grounded, and hopefully in the full game there'll be a bit more info expanding on what else the people in charge have been doing to prepare for the Reaper threat.

It's worth about 700 bucks buy it now on ebay. More if you type space in caps
space is valuable.
The unnerving quiet of the second base and the ending won me over.
Also that fauna joke when you're in the Hammerhead.
but I don't enjoy the way there as much

I am sad now.
Overlord because of the
Doesn't the game start out with Shephard on trial for what he's done in Arrival?
I think it was supposed to but if I recall correctly, a thread or two ago taky said there was no trial but he didnt go into it at all
seems weird that they'd change an intro like that
are we sure it's gone?

You are making shit up, he's said that Arrival has the most connections with ME3, it's just that he doesn't care for it compared to shadow broker.
