It's interesting playing the effects of a ME1 run I did so long ago I can't remember it.
Like, seeing the reporter at the Citadel, and realising that I didn't punch her that run. So I reloaded the game and tried talking to her for once, and you know what? The renegade response is even more satisfying. I definitely like playing this Shep. She's a hard-ass professional who will do what it takes to advance humanity's position in the galaxy.
I can't be evil.
I just...can't.
She's not evil, just the get it done, don't get in my way sort of person.
Also she agrees with Ashley re: aliens, which is why there's a couple of graves on Vimire marked Wrex and Ailenko.

I never played me1 or arrival
the galactic readiness thing is going to be the death of me
If anything I'm worried that the Galactic Readiness thing will be too easy to max out. Especially with multiplayer being so much fun.
If you're the type to complete the game, of course you're going to get your readiness maxed out.
If you're not, Taky's said it's going to be...interesting if you decide not to do the multiplayer as well.
The multiplayer option is directly tied in with the story?
There are a couple ways to boost your Galactic Readiness. You can import a game with certain actions done (there's a pretty long list of them; many of the actions you took over the course of ME1 and 2 will boost your readiness). Play N7 missions (sidequests) in ME3. Play multiplayer and promote your dudes. There's iphone app you can install and possibly some other stuff.
You don't have to do all of them. Supposedly you can get by on N7 missions alone, but you'll have to do pretty much all of them.
Basically you can do the parts you like and ignore the parts you don't to get the best ending for yourself.
The multiplayer is kinda like seeing those top soldiers and agents of every race do their part to help fight back instead of just seeing a meter go up.
It kind of annoys me that the multiplayer affects the single player
because I don't really like the multiplayer and wouldn't play it even if I had Gold
I mean it probably won't be a bother and I'll get full readiness anyway
but it still annoys me
You might be among the silliest of geese.
I just find it kind of dull
I am not a huge fan of multiplayer to be fair
although I do very much enjoy the Space Marine online play
EXCELLENT! So you don't have to play the multiplayer and can still max out your Galactic Readiness.
And the other dude that just wants to blast through a crit-path playthrough but loves the multiplayer can max out his Galactic Readiness.
It's all about options, man.
And me? My Galactic Readiness will be fit to wipe out two reaper invasions.
'cuz I'm doing it all.
Yeah I know
it still annoys me
being annoyed by optional things is stupid

Oh, is that what "promote" does?

the galactic readiness thing is going to be the death of me
and the whole rest of the universe
I'll probably play so much multiplayer before even touching the single player
My galactic readiness level is going to be off the fucking scale
gotta balance things and still finish the story or I'm not finishing till summer
Yeah the trial was cut . Taky seemed a bit down about that.
It's annoying but relatively minor because now? Keith David will provide a refresher as you kill things with him.
Same with me brother, same with me.

man the multiplayer demo is really awesome
i don't get PS3 buyer's remorse that often
but at times like this
it's an optional way to boost your galactic readiness
someone else with a ps3?
I'm not alone
Thanks Mass Effect wiki for telling me all of their locations.
I still want to find them all.
gasp
this is what making first contact with aliens must feel like
further proof that solar is awful
Free dlc character for me!
Still gotta play arrival though overlord too.

brings a tear to my eye
You annoy me. :x
Seriously though, can you articulate why? Because I just do not understand that viewpoint.
It's like me getting pissed off because Starcraft includes a multiplayer component that I've never touched.
being annoyed by optional things is stupid

I dunno, it just kind of feels like the multiplayer should be seperate from the single player
I can't really articulate why
To be honest I wish that they had never included multiplayer in ME3, even though I'd never have played it
Can't exactly articulate why I feel that either
