I've found that my beard gets a bit puffy some times. Is there any way I can keep it closer to the face and not spread out as much?
the conditioner I mentioned should help with that unless your beard is super wiry. also try to get some that says "moisturizing" on the bottle
if it's poofy, you could also use some leave-in conditioner that's designed for dry, frizzy hair. It's basically moisturizing oil and it makes your hair less poofy and more straight and sleek.
If I didn't use it on my head, it'd look like cotton wool on my head for a few days after I washed it.
Beards are okay as long as they are still at skin-level (like the hair still lays against the face). But once they start dangling down they seem to get kinda gross

for you comfort, use a facial moisturizer with menthol at least twice a week
