I stopped into a specialty shaving shop the other day to check it out and look for a gift. The salesman was very helpful and explained to me all the different products and showed me their special badger hair brushes that were softer than angel kisses
After he told me that the lowest priced one was $150, I politely excused myself from the store
I can only assume the hair was harvested from magical badgers

I paid about $50 for my brush.
If I wanted higher quality/softer it could've gone a lot higher.
I just shaved my beard off this week after a very stressful day, in a Britney Spears-esque attempt to avert a nervous breakdown. It was the first time I had really grown it out and I miss it dearly. With the beard and my hair-do, I had a real writer's strike Conan O'Brien thing going on, but now I just have a regular Conan O'Brien do going.
I remember growing mutton chops for a production...
There is a reason those went out of style.

I've had a winter beard since..well the beginning of winter. But its time to roll it back. I'm at 5mm at the moment. I think I'll trim it down to 3 and once summer hits.....the Merkur makes its return for baby smooth Karl face.

I went a week without shaving, and then got sick for another week, meaning I didn't leave the house and felt no need to touch my razor or trimmer.
in truth I enjoy neither the act of shaving nor the feeling of having a beard. If either happens it's typically because I got overly fed up with the other.

Hasn't stopped me!
Maybe I'll just start beard trimming once a week or so.

I trim it to like a 2 and a half blade. I feel like that's when it looks neat and still dark enough.

No not that bread, the country potato.
REALLY.
i know there are a handful of people here who grow real beards and you know who you are and are not included in that
My hair just doesn't grow in a way that would support such an endeavour.
(Also I have to be clean-shaven for my job. Bah.)

So I'm making up for that, along with the lack of a decent looking beard, by growing my hair long.
