Are the graphics significantly different between versions? If I don't plan on getting a CPP am I going to find the Wii U version much easier to control?

Lurking here makes holding onto my money far more difficult than it has any right to be.

The Wii U is going to be the superior version. The 3DS is cramped, low-res, and you can't even use the touch screen as an advantage since the Wii U has a BIGGER ONE.

Here are screens from games at Nintendo's booth at the Indiecade.

Can I say how excited I am to play Pier Solar on my WiiU when it's released. I really wanted to play it but couldn't afford to order the physical cart, and now I don't have to.

    Picross e3? what's that?

    The third eShop Picross game.

They're putting Pier Solar on WiiU? I mean, half the fun would be playing it on my Genesis or Dreamcast, but that's still pretty cool. Which version are they putting up?

Everyone knows that Baseball was the best black box NES sports games.

Until RBI Baseball came out, because it rocked.

Well, at least Overclocked is digital now. Surprised they didn't launch it at a lower price though given it's 30 bucks at retail nearly everywhere.

I'm forgiving about the release schedule on the VC generally... but come ON, Nintendo.

At least give us 10-Yard Fight or Tecmo Bowl or something.

C'mon now, it only starts cheating the moment you start winning.

Sort of like how RC Pro-Am worked. The instant you are winning, one of the cars becomes the flash and destroys you entirely.

I think they (rightfully) knew that most of their fanbase would be busy catching 'em all yet again to really care about this week's VC releases.

Gotta save some of the rest of the crappy stuff over for another "rainy day" where no one will give a crap about what they drop on VC that week. You use it all up, you got nothing left. It IS dumb, but it's a kind of dumb where I can see what they are thinking maybe at least. Kind of.

I used to own Back to the Future II & III. I still say the "III" part of that game is a myth and does not exist. Any Youtube videos showing it are elaborate forgeries.

(though on the flip side, I vaguely recall Tiny Toons on SNES not being completely terrible)

Yeah, Fester's Quest was pretty darn good. Kinda felt like the dungeon bits of the original Blaster Master. Though whoever thought it was a good idea to have a single bite from a tiny fly slow you to a crawl until you use a specific item needs to be kicked in the nards.

Not surprising since both Blaster Master and Fester's Quest were made by Sunsoft.
