I played around with elementalist builds and now I want to play an elementalist main. I didn't realize how fun bouncing around between attunemens looked.

I definately decided on my 5 chars on launch day though.
Elementalist, Warrior, Necro, Ranger and Thief.
Right now, ele and rang are in the lead for main though. But I have already resigned myself to playing each for a bit before I make that decision rather than pick and find out much later I might have liked something else.
I'm thinking Mesmer for maximum group pvp / WvWvW shenanigans.

At first, I thought elementalists were getting underrated because they looked like traditional mages, which might be a bit unappealing to people, as well as them being the first class revealed years ago that got lost in the shuffle. Now that people are finding out more about each class as we approach beta where we'll get to try them all, elementalists are looking more and more versatile and fun. I know they are in my first five category, for my first Sylvari character.
I'm leaning towards a human elementalist, sylvari necromancer, norn ranger, human thief, and a char warrior. I want to fit a mesmer in too, so that may be my first purchased slot.

One of the reasons I'm interested in the Ranger is because they can have sharks as a pet when underwater.
