Guardians of Infinity: To Save Kennedy (Help?)

Greetings, super friends!

I posted about this about a year ago or so...I apologize if I'm violating any rules by asking again, but I received no responses last time, so I'm hoping once-a-year is forgivable.

I've found an old MS-Dos game called "Guardians of Infinity: To Save Kennedy," where you control a team that has traveled back to one week before the assassination in an attempt to save the President. It's really well done and a blast to play...but I've run into a brick wall and just can't figure out how to proceed. Because it's a text-based game, I'm thinking that it's a simple matter of me not wording something correctly...but I have scoured the internet, and NOBODY is talking about this game.

So...has anyone ever played this game? I'd like to compare notes with someone, even if they never actually beat it. Let me know, thanks!

Did you ever figure out what to do? I need help answering the comm. I order a charcter to complete a task and the I use the wait command to get the results (ctrl and w) Then the comm informs me that the character is calling, but I cannot figure out how to answer. I've literally pressed like every button, but they all do nothing. I know the game didn't freeze though because the comm is flashing. I read the whole manual but can't find anything.
