I know no-one cares, but ME3 is downloading now, and it turns out it was a disk drive problem.

2 MB/S when you have the disk isn't fast, but it's a massive improvement.

I still envy you all, but in a good natured way. And now I'm ducking out.

unlocked Drell Adept today. Took a little bit to get used to him but he's a lot of fun

also I think I fucked up a sidequest (relatively early on, Citadel):

Aria wants me to get the Eclipse leader out of prison. I talked to her, she was totes crazy, so I told Bailey I would find a different way to handle it. The quest didn't update in the journal at all though, and neither Aria nor Bailey have anything new to say regarding it. Sederis mentioned that if her second in line had any backbone he would take over in her absence so I'm assuming that's the "paragon" way of solving this quest but I can't find any clues as to where he might be.

Aria named the second. Pop open your map, tab through different areas -- you'll find the second in command lurking down in the refugee camp. Salarian dude sitting in one of the little crate cul-de-sacs.

do not attempt to join a multiplayer game UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO PLAY

do not fiddle with your character or load-out when you are in the god damn game lobby and three other people are waiting for you to click ready so they can play the fucking game

they need to fucking remove that feature

joining a game means you are ready

if you're not ready, don't fucking join

That's kind of dumb, since loadouts/equipment/character matters a lot depending on the map/enemy type/mode/other classes in the game. None of which you actually know until you join the game
