Oh I understand whe was speaking for herself. I mostly just wanted to point out that a rational counterpoint to Havoks speech can be formed without people beliveing its some we support hate speech
You realize Remender apologized for what he said and has since addressed his comments as well as the flaws within Havok's speech both on Twitter and in Uncanny Avengers, right?

Dont follow twitter but in which issue of UA was it addressed?

The latest one where Rogue and Wanda have a debate over it
it isn't a perfect explanation, but he acknowledges the speech was flawed and the other X-Books will give better looks at it
I felt like the latest Uncanny X-Force was actually the first good one in the current run. The previous issue in particular was kinda bad -- the dialog seemed so... stunted? Really simple? I dunno, but #7 read much better.
That said I bought the first trade of Uncanny Avengers and man
it does feel kind of preachy
I chalked most of that up to Red Skull being what I assume is normal for Red Skull (haven't really read many stories with him). If anyone's going to have an opinion on America in the Marvel U, well...
CBR has opened up polling for their 50 Greatest X-Men Stories feature. I haven't voted in any of their previous similar features due to not having read enough to feel like I could give a decent list, but that's definitely not the case with the X-Men. Regardless, I'm still having a hell of a time cobbling together a list. Rules state you can't vote for stuff like UXF or X-Factor, otherwise my list would look almost completely different (and would be so much more difficult to whittle down). Since voting for spin-off/peripheral titles isn't allowed I'm trying to avoid the incredibly obvious stories like Dark Phoenix, though I feel like half of this list would either make it or be very serious contenders anyway. So far I have:
1. Fever Dream/Where’s Wolverine?!? (UXM 251-252)
2. Mindgames!/Magneto Triumphant!/Showdown! (UXM 111-113) (can't vote for the whole Odyssey Saga at once )
3. Wounded Wolf (UXM 205)
4. The Brood Saga (UXM 162-167)
5. Unstoppable (Astonishing X-Men 19-24, Giant-Size Astonishing X-Men 1-2)
6. The Proteus Saga (UXM 125-128)
7. Assault on Weapon Plus (NXM 142-145) (considering replacing this with the first Fantomex story)
8. Going Through the Motions (UXM 303)
9. Days of Future Past (UXM 141-142) (obviously well-known, but can't think of anything else offhand)
10. Fatal Attractions
I guess I love those Claremont-penned solo Wolverine-being-hunted-or-hunting stories more than I realized.
I'm not completely sold on the last three. The last half of FA is among my favorites, the first half not as much. I'm considering throwing in another Whedon or Morrison story, or maybe one of each. Perhaps Gifted and one of the Cassandra Nova NXM stories.

ANXM
So Jean fucked up a mind trick. Seems to be a running gag atm but forgivable since she reminded people her powers expanded only a few issues ago. Highlight of the issue for me: Ice Man snowball vs Thor. OMG that was the best panel in the issue. A close second was seeing cyke step up and make a few command decisions and nail silver samurai IN DA FACE!!
Also Summers brother high five. Makes me miss who Scott was before the shit hit the fan
I kind of miss the days where you could read just Uncanny and get by.
I mean, you could maybe read just All-New and get by, but they've done a really good job of threading all the books together and having them take turns sharing the spotlight, and giving them really strong and different focuses.
It's just too expensive to follow 5, $4 core titles, especially when 2 or 3 of them usually double-ship.
It is just that they are interwoven well and strengthened by the other books. They even went out of their way to include the Uncanny Avengers speech in the issue of All-New X-Men where Kitty addressed it.
The only thing that is gonna require following multiple books is Battle of the Atom
When asked about future X-23 appearances the panel gave a wait and see answer but Bendis pointed himself so looks like she will pop up in either ANXM or Uncanny
So I just started reading X-men again. The OP says that the team split, but I'm not sure which X-men series follows Wolverine's team (located at the Jean Grey School), is there one? I picked up the first trade collection for the new Uncanny X-Men and its pretty awesome, but man it feels like something is missing with the characters on Wolverine's team.

X-Men #2 was pretty strong too. Looks promising.

He's the Red Skull, of course he's loaded with that stuff
it was all the other characters preaching at each other rather than talking to each other which bothered me
like when Alex went to see Scott
that scene wasn't there for the two to talk, it was for Alex to make his speech
Of course he is going to get the spotlight and emphasis.
Meanwhile Scott is covering Uncanny X-Men in speeches of his own.
Only so much page real estate a writer can devote to a character that isn't a part of his book.

Northstar and Firestar joining WatXM plus Nightcrawler coming back?
Helllll yeah
in space, on the high seas, in a fantasy castle, doesn't matter
all that matters is Nightcrawler has some sort of saber and is duelling fearlessly with a snarling foe
LONGSHOT SAVES THE MARVEL UNIVERSE by Chris Hastings.
That's not a bad thing, but having 5+ core X-Titles is. I'm going to have to pick a couple to drop.
female gaze all up ins
what
I don't see where it says that Amazing is an ongoing, it sounds like a mini to me.
but that Nightcrawler is looking ballin'
Seems more likely this is Astonishing's replacement since it's ending

Lady Deathstrike is returning in Brian Wood's X-Men
fuck yes
I think that'd be cool
PSN: ShinyRedKnight Xbox Live: ShinyRedKnight
Although All-New X-Men, regular X-Men, and Astonishing X-Men (which is ending soon actually) are books that take place around the school too.
that is a good question
one of the X-books should revisit Utopia
Bendis said something about a group called "the Utopians" made up of mutants who stayed there
I think he's definitely my favorite, yeah
He's got the swashbuckling thing going on but he also has the whole "I look like a demon but I'm actually super religious" thing
There's layers to this guy, and on top of that his powerset is the coolest
