I have an old Xbox 360 Arcade and I'm looking to see if I can use one of the 16gb USB drives as a hard drive for game loading (the Xbox I have has the 2 USB ports at the front). Does anyone have any experience with this? Of course the interwebs have been vague so I figured, why not ask the gamers.
You can put savegames and I think profiles on a USB stick once it's formatted for xbox use (the xbox will prompt you to do this when you plug it in.) You can't use it for anything else (DLC, etc) though.
ed: also if you just want to have something to put savegames on, you can get a 20gig xbox hard drive for like, twenty bucks

Erm, that's wrong. You can download content to a USB key perfectly fine.
