If you want other resolutions search the forum. Someone here cooked up an array of options for this, possibly in the old Wii Megathread or an even older TP thread.
    That was me. :D

I can probably also cook up a wallpaper version of the twilight thing in my sig, if anyone is interested.

I use stuff from EndEffect http://www.endeffect.com on my machines. I prefer their cleaner stuff. I also use EndEffect art as the background for my 360 dashboard.

Unfortunately I can't remember where I got it from, but its a fractal image.

Before this one I had a SC: Ghost wallpaper with battlecruisers/wraiths in orbit.

I'd upload the whole set but Photobucket has turned gay and resizes everything I upload. It used to be able to support pictures up to 1650x1080 but not anymore.

    ImageShack ImageShack olol.

Seriously though. What does Photobucket offer in the way of advantages that people would CHOOSE to use it over something as awesome as ImageShack?

I just uploading something to Photobucket on my account and had the same problem. The trick is to open up the little section beneath where you browse for the file to upload, named "Max Image Size", and just set it to 1 Megabyte.

Or, alternatively, move to Imageshack. I'm just too lazy, so I'll stick with Photobucket for now I suppose.

Use the wallpaper dump, as it makes it easier for all of us to find the pics later on :)

Here's my current desktop. It's probably one of the least customized desktops I've posted here, but since there is a serious lack of good 3rd party skins for Vista (well, if you don't want to use Windowblinds) I guess it'll have to do for now...

    Sure, here you go:

Clock: [here] (I've just slightly tweaked the colors on mine to better match the other gadgets).

    CPU/RAM: [here]

    Wireless: [here]

Currency: It's the default one that comes with Vista. I've just edited it to match the theme by replacing the background with the one from the wireless gadget (did a slight crop in PS), and edited the .css & javascript to center the content. Shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to do.

A bit dull, but it's functional - the character maps on the bottom are vital for writing essays about Scandinavia.

Man, there are more people using Ubuntu than I thought. I forgot to mention, I got my desktop background from here, and you can google for beryl. It's a bit of a pain to install (though there is an automatic script for ATi cards, just make sure you answer no when it asks if you want to install the flgrx driver, it's flaky as hell, and I don't think my Mobility Radeon 9000 is supported) but it's nice to have the eye candy.
