How'd you get your start bar looking like that?
Its part of a WindowBlinds Skin called Arzo. I just use windowblinds to override the default taskbar and leave everything else normal because..well..the rest of the skin sucks but i like its taskbar ;-)

Unfortunately, you can't with the current gallery system, me or one of the moderators will have to move it for you. Just let us know by posting in the requests forum or send me a message either on the wallpaper dump site, or by using a PM here.

For some reason, all of my desktop icons have this blue crap around the text. How do I get rid of that?
Try right clicking on the desktop > Arrange Icons By Name > Near the bottom of that list, uncheck the "Lock Web Items/Icons to Desktop" button. Though I have no idea if this works on non-Windows' systems.

In the window that appears, chose the "advanced" tab.
On that tab should be a button for performance settings, near the top. click it.
On the window that appears, scroll through the checklist and make sure "use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" is checked.
That should remove the colored background behind your icon names.

I don't have the original of this background, but I realised that I could just copy it into photoshop, get rid of the task bar, and have the original anyway. Then I inverted it like you asked and expanded it to 1280 x 1024.

My current desktop wall paper is a photo that was taken at a concert I went to a while back. I was up at the front against the rails with a few friends and one of them brought a disposable camera. It took a surprisingly well picture for all the lights and movement that was going on. Band was Behemoth.

We don't? In that case, give me a few minutes and I'll add the possiblity to filter wallpapers by those dimensions as well as I know there are images in that size uploaded
Another site you could check out that has a lot of huge walls is Interfacelift.
