Still new to Vista 64 bit on this laptop, though, and I'm dying to figure out a way to get rid of those shortcut arrows on those icons, and yet not have it screw up my games viewer thingie that Vista comes with.
I want to start using BBlean, but I'd like to make some modifications. As retarded as the BlackBox community is, I'm finding it hard to get answers to the following, if anyone could point me in the right direction:
How do I change the format of the clock in the taskbar?
Also, how do I get rid of the arrows for switching between tasks and workspaces, and how do I get rid of the workspace switcher altogether, including the names (Alpha, Beta etc.) so that the taskbar is just tasks, system tray and clock?
So, in the realisation that I liked the minimalism of BBLean/Clean, I decided to give it a go. Especially since there is no reason I can find that I need to be using Explorer instead.
Clean:
Somewhat Dirty:
I especially like the fact that the skinning engine is simply solid colours or gradients drawn on the fly. You can't use images to create themes, so they're all exceptionally simple, and the same can be sad for creating your own colour scheme, which I have done here.
1. If you have a particularly snazzy desktop and you know people are likely to ask for the source, then post it with your screenshot. It'll help out a lot.

Winflip is so cool.

Even better, they have the Release Client. Nice.
Hey man, how well does it work with Vista 64?
Can I get a clean?
which I kinda like.
Its a yahoo widget called informer
Does that get any bigger?
Surprisingly stable, actually. I have no complaints yet, and unlike Ubuntu, Second Life doesn't crash when I minimize it.
Also, I'm snagging Yahoo! Widgets as we speak, Here's to hoping I find something useful rather than just being eye candy.
I want this. Clean please?
bblean
That's mighty sexy. What did you use to make Adium look like that?
The Theme I'm using is called "simpledesktop"
Oh god. I cannot imagine looking at that all day. I need something simple and relatively soothing on my desktop.
Large & clean please

Also, current desktop:
Can I get clean and widescreen if possible?
"Can I get a wideclean?"
That's what the cool kids should say.
Man, quit trippin.
Let's dip.

So here it goes:
Very simple Aston Shell theme, a couple of addons and a google addon that i built myself.

Sure, it'd possibly look better because it'd be true to form, but it definitely wouldn't go so well with my monochrome colour scheme.
For anyone else:
Please.
I had a bit of a play around with the clean version. How's this?
Are the eyes too much? Would a flat red background be better than the gradient?
although I currently have this excitebike wallpaper.
Linked for uber res, I just have it centred.
Could I get this bigger?
