I want to change my theme, but I've never found anything I like other than System04. It's so simple, and most themes have all these unnecessary features that I don't want cluttering shit up. If there was a really nice, really simple, dark, and FLAT theme, I'd jump all over it.

    Requesting dock and theme !

The dock is Rocket Dock (http://www.punksoftware.com/rocketdock) - The skin is included by default (It's called CrystalXP.net).

You'll also want the same icons as me, I'm guessing. They can be found here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/34957480/ - He's got three icon packs that cover quite a few programs, although for some reason NOT Windows Exphttp://img124.imageshack.us/img124/9389/desktop26cleangv4.jpglorer. But they're nice. He's got light coloured icons for dark backgrounds (Mine), and dark coloured for light backgrounds.

The theme I'm using is System04 (If you were indeed asking for my Windows theme and not my dock theme?) which can be found here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/9889460/

    EDIT:

bbmartini: Thanks for that suggestion. His themes are really nice. I got ahold of the Licrorice one, and then got StyleBuilder and went to town on it. I didn't like all the green, so I changed it to plain or blue for highlights.

    Here's my new theme:

    desktop26hy5.jpg

The changes aren't that apparent from the original, but there are lots of little things that I got rid of or simplified.

EDIT: Changed some stuff around, and wanted to show off the wallpaper I made, as well as the desktop without mIRC in the way.

so I decided to take the "olol vista=osx wannabe" as far as I could.

I must say it's actually quite nice. got rid of the whole taskbar/startmenu/systray nonsense, got an analog clock goin in the dock... common stuff right up there, everything else Launchy handles. control panel is right there through the "computer" button...

it's like having whole new spaces to breathe in.

Someone probably already mentioned one earlier in the thread, but what is a good program to get different wallpapers on dual monitors? On my last computer I had an nvidia card and the software that came with it would allow it, but this new machine has an ATI and it's software only allows either one wallpaper stretched across the two monitors, or the same one for both. I'd like a different one for each and if anyone has anything to recommend I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hate to bump my own post but I will just in case it was lost amongst all the pretty pictures. :)

I don't know exactly what you mean, but I'm guessing you want to make MSN minimize to the dock? Just open up the dock settings and set it so that applications minimize to the dock, then open up MSN and click the minimize button, and it goes to the dock. Same as any other program.

A simple solution is to just take two wallpapers and stick them together in any paint program. That's the extent of my knowledge on the subject.

Jensen, having not used Miranda in a long time is it easy to get it to look like that ? I wish I knew more people that used AIM. :x

Wait, is that theme you mention for Windows or Miranda ?

Also, I need a new dark wallpaper, any suggestions, anyone ? This is my current one.

My desktop is kind of cluttered by semi-regularly used shortcuts and I was wondering if anyone knew of a widget that would let me hide them but display them when I needed them.

Like, I'd mouse over/click on a GUI element on the desktop and it would display the applications radially around the element, and they'd go away when I clicked/moused over it again.
