also people talking about stasis at the end of the last thread, keep in mind stasis does absolutely nothing to armored targets, so banshees brutes ravagers primes and pyros are all immune

that said stasis is still super super good
Stasis bubble held the line in an early upload round in reactor today. The upload was in the reactor itself and a bubble in each entrance as they tried to breach made it cake.
fair enough, but 10% more weapon damage or 20% more shields or whatever doesn't seem all that comparable to a fairly long-ranged, high damage attack with a large radius and no cooldown
This is what people are boycotting bioware and staging bullshit charity fiascos and threatening Casey Hudson's life over?
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU GODDAMN PIECES OF SHIT
I have no clue man. My biggest complaint with the ending is that I felt parts of it are vague.
Was the old man talking to the kid actually a descendant in the ME universe? Or just some old guy who's been telling the three games as a story to his grandkid? And when is the next ME game coming out, so I can play a new character, meet up with the characters from this trilogy, and then have them complain 'Shepard would have done that better.' as I try to live up to my own example of galaxy saving messiah?
Also, for those looking at biotic explosions, some helpful tips on speccing them for damage.
First, damage is based on two things: the rank of the abilities that set off the explosion and any skill talents that increase the biotic combo damage. That's it. So speccing for +power damage in the paasive doesn't add anything to the explosion damage. Also, a rank 6 throw detonatibg a rank 6 warp does a lot more damage than a rank 1 throw detonating a rank 6 warp. And vice versa.
Second, and most interesting, is that the damage scales based on the opponent max health, so it's not static. In other words, it'll remove the same chunk of health from an Atlus on gold that it does on bronze. So it scales a ton better at higher difficulties than weapon damage does.

I never plan to play vanguard.
This is what everyone's been flipping out about?

although I wouldn't mind quarian engineer/salarian infiltrator
sooner or later I will go back to sentinel
you should get both
also, drell vanguard is the best vanguard
People get really up in arms about things they feel are important.
The ending to a pulp sci-fi video game series they like is deemed Important by a lot of people, apparently.
Then I would have to give up charge, and fuck that.
tell me your secrets
I have them maxed on mine and I'm always slightly disappointed with them
which is why I dont use them
you can max out all three of your powers, you would just lose out on maxing out one of your passives
that said stasis is still super super good
heh you wish
Yeah, but I really want my maxed passives.

I'm thinking I may need alternate ways of getting my ME fix and keeping my readiness up if I can't get the Xbox fixed soon
My SP character is just obsessed with cool down and shield perks, so now I just nova charge er'ry day.
Also have carnage as a secondary power for banshees. Though I make sure I charge/punch them to death so as hey die, they regret fucking with Sheperd.
Satans..... hints.....
I don't wish, I know.
You know nothing, RMED Snow.
yeah, for people who run head long into danger and use skills that actively lower their defences, they sure do fear a lot of things.
I've got gun-envy with Retaba's Paladin though.
Things vanguards fear:
Turrets.
Banshees.
Things vanguards do not fear, but probably should:
Everything else.
Why I fear the ocean.
Seriously though.
The most fun game I played was 4 vanguards on gold.
Only made it to wave 9, but it was really fun.
Playing Vanguard medic is really fun.
Charge on top of body, staggering nearby enemies.
Resurrect sap.
Charge out like a boss.
Got two spots for 360!
yeah it definitely wasn't worth
overreacting
Satans..... hints.....
no.
Vanguards only fear Brutes, Atlases and Banshees
I've personally charged two turrets on Silver and came out just fine so I guess it just takes skill
8-)
(this is a lie Vanguard takes seriously no skill you just need to mash two buttons and you can't die except for from one hit kills)
and then annoyed when my kills keep getting snagged by charges
