Quake Wars PCG Cover Story! Or not...

I got my latest issue of PC gamer a couple of days ago and was ecstatic to see a big blurb mentioning MUST READ INFO about the upcoming Quake Wars inside. I got the magazine on my day off so I waited a couple of days until I got to work so I could really enjoy the rag during a slow shift at the security gig. I went to work today quite excited and when I got there tore off the wrapping to go straight to the story on page 40. I flipped through the magazine, page 38, 39.. 30?! What the hell was going on? Was this some cruel trick that fate was playing on me? My pages 40 and 41 had been replaced with duplicate pages of 30 and 31 screwing me out of the one article in the entire magazine I was most excited about reading.

I'm pretty bummed right now, but my question is how many PCG subscribers here had the same thing happen to them with this issue? Was it a limited thing or was the entire run screwed over?

    Thats oddly hilarious. You'd expect them to catch a mistake like that before they ship out all of their magazines.

    D'oh. I was so excited, since you said it was listed as "must read info." It's nothing but a brief run through on a new map. I was hoping for a release date or demo info or something. :(

    i hadn't heard anything about this game until it was anounced for 360, but now it's one of my most anticipated releases. i'm considering upgrading my pc just to enjoy this with KBM accuracy and speed (as well as catching up on some rts goodness).
