I just watched that documentary on Netflix about the dude who plays Elmo and how he achieved all these awesome life goals like working with Jim Henson and working on Sesame Street by being super motivated and doing what he loved the most, and it was kind of awesome and moving but it hella reminded me that I'll never get to meet some people like Jim Henson who was a huge inspiration in my life.
It made me think, though, about inspiration and drive and motivation and passion, and how they can be such enormous transformative forces in a persons life. Like right now I'm like five weeks away from finishing school, which I never thought I'd do, and I'm getting to do shit I love the most in the whole world and how danged awesome that is, and what an amazing motivator it is to find something you love and just do it until you're good at it.
What inspires you guys? What do you dudes love so much you just gotta do it? What do you wanna do that you don't think you'll ever get to? What drives you?
Tiny hats are out this season, mostly. It depends on context, but for the most part they're seen as trite and cliche.
I've got a great line of tiny tweed suits for your nutsack that would look positively divine, however. Coupled with the right accessories, like a miniature pocket watch and a little pipe for your pecker and you'll be the talk of the town!

Question then Rank, should I use a regular bow tie to wrap around my boner or should I go another route and have tailor-made a tiny bow tie that is proportionate to the size of my boner?

But in all honesty, things that inspire me?
Um, I like to read about natural sciences. The world is such an incredibly intricate and yet massively, incomprehensively vast place, and I think that's... you know, totally fantastic. We spend a lot of our time just moving through places without really noticing them for all of their separate but intertwined parts. Or at least I do.
I'm also really inspired by all the friends I have who have done incredibly adventurous things. A couple I know spent the last year backpacking Southeast Asia, and another couple I know just got back from hiking South/Southwestern China and Pakistan for ten months. I have a friend who hitchhiked through Senegal over the past spring. All of these people are way cooler than me but the fact that they are willing to hang out with me makes me feel like maybe someday I can do these amazing, adventurous things, too? And so that's pretty inspiring. Or at least motivating.

in secluded corporate retreats CEOs watch diagramas of Blake's dick
"how to we get to that point", they ask one another
and the older ones, the ones who know better, they just shake their heads, a single tear rolling from their eyes

If won lotto or something, or I don't know, worked hard and saved. (you know, shit that would never happen) I'd like to work with kids, maybe through a school or an outreach program and taken outside, doing camping and activities and shit.

Ok outside of cock fashion, my real drive and motivation, to actually make games? Man, it is the best fucking feeling, getting to actually do that shit. I still need to graduate and get a job, and that's a little scary and all, but right now I'm still so hyper focused on getting my teams game done enough to demo next week for our career fair thing and it is getting so close and looking so good and the team is delivering so well, it is easy to feel confident and excited.
Plus I've just had so many awesome other opportunities and gotten to network and meet so many amazing folks. I dunno, it's easy to get all gushy and shit, but I really love this stuff so much. I'm super excited to get the demo together and release it for people to play it soon.

If you instantly restrict yourself from doing what you like best because "there's no market for it", you are dooming yourself to a pretty shitty sort of existence. If you do your best work in pursuit of something you love, money will find you along the way and you'll be a lot happier in the process. Doing anything just for money without further satisfaction is an unfortunate living.
You don't even need to do what you love full time. You can work a job and get by and make time for your creative endeavors outside of your financial responsibilities, if you are fortunate or motivated enough. This is of course assuming you are in a situation where this is feasible, like you don't have five kids to feed and live in a severely improvised area here you need to work three jobs to get by or something.

Ok I'm rambling and sleep deprived and being an idealist. Probably not wise. I'm going to sleep.

I honestly believe too many people try too hard, and then judge themselves on failing when they try and find a job they love. You aren't just your job, and if you can go home and do your own thing when you get home that's still a pretty sweet time.
And besides, doing a job you don't like might give you the tools to do all the things you do love outside of work.

That's exactly right.
A job is a job. It won't make you happy. It should provide you with the means to pursue the things that provide you with happiness. If you can be creatively fulfilled in your work or enjoy what you do, even better, and that's always the ideal, but I think too many people expect to get a job that will make them happy forever and forget that it's still always going to be work.

Yeah, I think if your work is something you love, you're very lucky indeed, but it's too easy to expect that just because you love it, it won't really be work. Which isn't the case.
And also there's nothing wrong with working a job that's just a job, as long as somewhere in there you are doing what you love. If your work is just a paycheck facilitating that thing that truly fulfills you, that's okay too.

Who would have thought?
The military was the only thing in my life I was really inspired to do. The rest is just kind of things I do incidentally.
what's the word on tiny hats
Don't think it'll ever be feasible.
But don't ask me, I'm not the wang pro.
