Alright I actually have two problems I need help with
1. I bought a pci wireless card, a tp-link tl-wn951N but if it's inserted, nothing powers on. no lights, no fans, nada. when it's removed, it works perfectly again. Is it a faulty card or did i put it in backwards or what?
2. I also bought a wireless repeater, a diamond multimedia wr300n. after set up, the onboard software informed me my settings were bad, went to check both sets of settings and nothing was highlighted, and all my information was put in correctly. I checked the wireless networks, and the repeater was there but the provided password didn't let me connect. after fiddling with it, now it won't show up in the list at all, but if there's an ethernet cord between the repeater and the device, it works perfectly. i'm actually posting this with that set up right now.
