Oh man I'm almost scared to watch Raw next week now because it will be impossible to top tonights show for a good long while. I just hope some of the energy from tonight transfers over to the April 9th show somehow.
I am not in the slightest bit excited for the return of Lesnar, and it does not shame me in the slightest to admit this.
It should've been Trent Baretta getting that spot.
Actually, even I can't pretend to be serious about that.
Just as long as they shove Eve in a closet for the next five shows, I'm okay with them not being able to top this one.
Seriously, can we bring back the whole Kane Creeper thing? I think that's the only direction this storyline can go, short of Ryder choke slamming Eve from the top rope.
I guess Daniel Bryan came out in a dark tag team match and Sheamus was the most over heel and Bryan the most over face by a fucking mile. And then he gave a speech saying that last night was the worst night of his career, but after tonight he may have convinced the WWE to sell a new t-shirt
Speaking of which, how good is a Smackdown live event?
Strongly considering running down to the venue tomorrow to see if they still have tickets.

AFter Raw went off, Cena was dead for a while, the crowd chanted YES, then Fuck You Cena.
Then the dark match main event was Orton/Big Show/Sheamus vs Kane/Rhodes/Bryan. Sheamus was the most over heel while Bryan the most over face. Everytime Bryan was in the ring they chanted YES for every move he made (and NO for moves he received). When he was on the apron they chanted we want Bryan. Daniel, for his part, was laughing on the apron.
Match ended with a Brogue Kick to D-Bry, which set the crowd to fuming. D-Bry then went and got a mic while selling his pain and said:
I would only say one word right now but somehow it seems inadequate. Last night was the worst night of my wrestling career but thanks to all you people chanting Yes! I think you have officially convinced them to make me a new T-shirt. AJ, what do you think of all this? Shut up! Go! I guess there's nothing left to say so I'll just go. Okay, but if I'm gonna say it, every single one of you better buy the tshirt okay? Miami Florida, and to everyone who came to WrestkeMania, and everyone who's here tonight: Yes! Yes! Yes!
Thanks to David Shoemaker (AKA the Masked Man) for that transcript.
The arena was apparently pouring water into plastic cups in case things escalated.

Actually what would be interesting for Sheamus is too continue what happened with Bryan
the WHT belt "corrupting" the new champion
Belt forged of cursed Mayan gold swapped for the real World title by Poison Sawada JULIE, leading to a DDT vs WWE invasion which in turns ends with HARASHIMA holding every belt in both companies.
Also Dyvim I'm watching the Go Shiozaki vs. Takeshi Morishima Noah GHC Heavyweight title match and it's pretty damn good. Say what you will about Morishima but he brings it for the big matches. Is it that he's never been a proven money draw?

That's part of it, he's also pretty lazy and has a lousy attitude. And as far as current Japanese heavyweights go he's easily the worst of the champions (no matter what anybody says about Okada) and probably in the lower echelons of main eventers. Hell most of the mid-card heavyweights are probably as good as he is if not any better.
A Shiozaki match is a safe environment to watch him in though, since I must begrudgingly admit that Shiozaki is a pretty capable guy so I can't imagine Morishima could screw up too badly with him.

I did noticed the arena was pretty empty and he got a very subdued reaction when he won. I also notice he's part of the Noah Board of Directors so go figure him being the top guy.
smackdown's in orlando tomorrow and normally i wouldn't be too upset but i really want to go just so i can chant YES YES YES when mah boy d-bry comes out

I had no idea just how over Daniel Bryan was until last night. I think it is easier to ask how many matches at Wrestlemania didn't have some form of a Daniel Bryan or Yes chant in them?
Hell, even tonight I can't believe how many there were. The best two were during the Del Rio/Shaemus segment. First they were chanting Daniel Bryan loud enough that I could barely hear Del Rio, which is almost on part with the volume of heat Vicki can get. Then the Si, si, si chant.
I started watching wrestling around halfway through Lesnar's time in the company so I am excited to see him back. He is just a really big, scary, and very impressive guy in the ring. He always made the F5 look effortless. Though I am surprised he got as big of a pop as he did tonight seeing as he was only in the company for about 2 years. But, with that crowd, a coat hanger coming out might have gotten a cheer, as long as it wasn't coming out against Daniel Bryan.

I'd be kind of annoyed by a Sheamus turn.
Dude's a good face, really don't want him to flip if it can be helped.
Besides, Del Rio's enough heel for both of them.

Where was that sign when X-pac was around?

Or I need to stop reading Wade Keller writing about wrestling.
Something needs to happen that includes "stop" and "Wade Keller writing about wrestling".
Hjorvarthr I spent of good amount of money on therapy trying to forget he existed. Thanks a bunch.

In one of ther other video's there, they are even doing yes chants with car horns in the parking lot outside the arena.
Also, found a video of the d-bry speech after the show went off:
Edit: also, I would totally buy the shit out of a yes shirt.
