Mass Effect 3 is the long awaited conclusion of the Mass Effect series, a space opera in video game form.
In a galaxy at war with ancient monsters older than history, you play as Commander Shepard, hero of the human Systems Alliance, attempting to unite the greatest army ever seen from species with grudges dating back to before the black plague. Good luck with that.
Assuming they don't all kill each other, you'll be working with:
The Krogan, the ultimate survivors. Hunted by the most terrifying predators known, nuked to rubble, and effectively castrated by alien genetic meddling, the Krogan are still the toughest soldiers alive, laughing in the face of impossible odds. But there's not much a Grunt can do when the enemy is a 2 kilometer battleship that turns its enemies into mindless pawns.
The Turians. They may not be as tough as the Krogan, but in a pinch they are every bit as stubborn. Turians have the galaxy's most powerful fleet and military honor that keeps the lowliest civilian fighting where trained soldiers would surrender. But what good does honor do the ashes of billions of dead, and what good is a fleet with your homeworld burning?
The Quarians. A race of brilliant engineers, they nearly went extinct after a disastrous AI experiment, and now travel in the largest fleet in space, unable to leave their environmental suits without severe allergic reactions or death. Currently, they are engaged in a nigh suicidal battle against
The Geth, their synthetic children. A race of networked VIs, the Geth have massive armies, and are some of the most feared combatants known. Members of the species have allied with the Reapers in the past, but some have spoken against that path. And with the galaxy the way it is, Shepard needs all the help she can get.
Maybe even the Asari. But they suck, so it's fine either way.
But all these species working together won't be enough. Martial valor, technological genius, boobs I guess, they won't stop the Reapers. What you need...
Is the motherfucking special tasks group.
Look at this weedy little guy. You think you can take him? You're right. You probably could. But he's already infected your family with a deadly neurotoxin, destroyed your entire network infastructure, and rigged your car with undetectable explosives. He's Salarian STG, and they are the most dangerous members of the most effective species in council space.
Remember the Krogan? Salarians made them a galactic power, and Salarians broke them over their knee when they got out of line.
Salarians just live 40 years, but they get more done in an average bathroom break than you will manage in your entire life.
When the Reapers come, make the smart choice. Choose STG.
And if you need to contact a recruiting officer one of
these fine individuals will be glad to help. Up-to-date weapons statistics are also available. A well informed soldier is a surviving soldier.

There's a lot of really good DLC opportunity with Sur'Kesh getting actually attacked by Reapers. New enemy type, new crazy STG weapons, and it would be really awesome! I hope it's second on their plate after Omega/unlocking Mercenary enemies for MP.

and that their tougher enemies are krogans
krogan melee fights please
The only ones you meet off-world are either criminals who have escaped, or agents for a horrible government, so of course they are going to be horrible. But then it turns out that a lot of Batarians are just regular people who have been fucked over by their leaders, and just want to live peacefully with others.
Then you could have had a situation where the Alliance is all "no!" and turned the racism humans got from aliens in ME1 around. Now the Alliance is a powerful force, and they are the ones making cultural generalisations about others.
is that the dumb decision you are talking about
I always go with chain overload both times it is an option, even without the neural shock upgrade the way it stumbles most enemies makes it a great crowd control tool
chain
for the love of God, choose chain
