I don't see what Blah means....
I was figuring you were going to steal the Border princes by overplaying a card on the Festival, making 3 and taking a bonus 5.
Or overplaying the Bloodbath (again).
Or moving a cultist from the badlands to Norsca to make my bloodletter not work (prolly).
Or moving a cultist (or likely two) into Estalia.
Or moving a cultist (or likely two) into The Empire for second.
Now you have confused me.
Killing my bloodletter in Norsca and getting a Warpstone is so Confusing...

Ok, so there were probably better moves for me to make. But if nothing else, at least I confused you!

Whoops, I think Khorne just won. I knew I should've done something about Estalia! Damn, and I really thought I might've had it this time.

Why is it that whenever I play a Horror, it's like the dumbest possible move? I guess there's still the possibility that Khorne just misses... everywhere.

Hmm, was sure you were going to put your Bloodletter to Norsca...Now with him probably going to the Empire instead that Skitterleap would have been better played in TC...

5 hits in provinces with Bloodletters = 5 Points , And 4 DAC's
(Still seems rather strong)
Hey Darian, Have I EVER tried to drag things out?
I think the only dice that matter (well, a bit) are the green dice in Tilea...
Yeah, I think I've won it, but I haven't done the maths on the Rat.
Last time I thought I had won with Khorne, Rat scored 43(ish) on the last turn alone...
I have done the maths on TZ, and well, I thought I would not be able to try to win this round because TZ needed to be killed so he didn't get to 59... Then a warrior appeared in Norsca. Instead of (Warp Portal or Convocation in BP) & a cultist from Badlands to The Empire to score 2nd.... What was your last card TZ?
I'm definitely sticking to the base game from now on, until I feel like I have a handle on it. Plus I'm not sold on the whole idea of an expansion that a chunk of the competent playerbase feel is broken.

I'm incredibly embarrassed to admit that it was Havoc #3. I thought you would try to stop one of my regions from ruining and I'd need to save it for next round. I never re-did my calculations after the Bloodbath in Estalia to realize that you didn't need to stop me since you could just score higher. I had all the time in the world to think and make the right play, and instead I made a rash, stupid decision. Like I said, I'm an idiot.

Um. It isn't broken. Just One Upgrade is.
All you have to do is put it back in the box and play with the original upgrade.
The expansion is SO much more creative and interesting to play.
The Horned Rat as a power is an AWESOME addition as a 5th player.
In Magic terms, an expansion this Awesome and weird would definitely have a broken piece.
In competitive play it would be removed, and the players would all be cool with that.
This version with it only scoring 1, seems OK.
Still to go...

So gz Magic to you, thanks for hosting Darian and GG to everybody else. Although I would have preferred to win of course, I'm quite content with my performance, keeping in mind that it was only my second go as the Rat. I think I learnt a lot during this game (As the Rat you really want the ruinations distributed over more than on round, because its hard to be everywhere at once and I probably should have kept my cards longer (Most of the time I play Tzeentch and play my cards as soon as possible).
Anybody else more tips for me, so I can beat you next time? ;-)

MG gets 59. I get 52, so I at least break 50, small comfort that it is, VH gets 28, and Tayrun finishes with 32.
I think you played really well, including your cardplay (except maybe those last two in Tilea). You at least gave yourself a chance to win in the last round, which is more than I can say for myself. If multiple regions are ruining in the same turn, that's where The Under Empire comes in handy, although it only works out if the regions are physically adjacent or if Skaven tokens have been placed there at some point. We've seen really big turns for the rat as a result of multiple ruinations + Under Empire, so I wouldn't write that strategy off.

Really embarrasing if I did two points of damage in the Border Princes, and gave the game to TZ.
One point left for Nurgie....
Someone please tell me this game isn't going another round...
Edit: Actually not really.
