I've completed everything except some gold challenges on the first two areas and completed everything for the first five instances. The Commander something one won't load for me though, haven't managed to get in there at all, haven't unlocked the last one yet.
I've been having a lot of fun with it but I feel like I'm burning through the content a little too quickly, who knows how long it'll be before we see something new added? I had assumed the map we could see was just one area, turns out it's the whole game :S

The UI is a trainwreck, trying to communicate in-game is damn near pointless. However if you have a group of friends, or people you can talk to on teamspeak, the game is really fun and interesting. The shooting feels good, you continually find new guns that make you go "oh thats way better than I thought, I love this gun", and the driving is super fun going cross country. I strongly suggest this game to people who like 3rd person shooters, the MMO part is completely secondary. Its 3rd Person Shooter first and formost.

I got the achivement for having 15 friends playing at once on the first night, so theres at least that many in the clan. Theres usually 5-6 in TS at a time during the evening. We've been running dungeons left and right, so its pretty active.

Trion support wasn't able to help? They've always been really good about that sort of thing for me, helped me recover my account when I couldn't remember my security questions and my phone with the security app had died.
I just started playing this, and I'm enjoying it so far. That said, does anyone know if it's better to sell your trash gear or to break it all down?
I am constantly burning through scrip buying cars, so I always sell it. I have an abundance of gulanite(the green stuff) so breaking it down doesn't really help me, at least at the moment. You can use gulanite to buy keystones which can be used to get lockboxes from the smaller oval shaped boxes.
Edit - and if youw ant a clan invite, let me know your account name and friend me. Also! I need volunteers for officers that want to invite new people as well.

- First client-side big patch on the 15th. Lots of fixes/optimizations and I'm going to guess some content to go with the start of the show. They also warn now at log-in to do the Episode Missions before then, as they will probably disappear. Episode Missions will probably be up for only a limited time as to stick with the show.
- Next big patch two weeks after that.
- First DLC to come shortly after that.
- Other than the 5 DLCs planned for this year, there will also be free content tied to the TV show.
DLC will have a free component and a paid component so as to not segregate their playerbase.
I really hope for two things: That if the show goes under it won't screw the game up, and if the Xbox/PS3 versions don't do to well they won't drag down the PC version, as it costs a lot and requires certification to patch the console versions (or at least the Xbox 360 version).
Inventory management: when do I sell and when do I scrap? I have 16 slots, a blue mod, but nothing to use the mod on. I don't want to make wrong call. I have a ton of weapons, but don't know which to get rid of either. Is there a guide?
It's probably going to take a while to figure out which guns you'll like or use most. It's kinda hard to tell just by looking at the stats.

Mods are somewhat minor boosts to weapon performance until much later in the game. I usually sell white mods, unless I can use them immediately. There's a vendor at Iron Demon Ranch which sells tons of white ones, so there's no reason to stockpile them. I do hold onto greens or higher when I think they'll be useful, otherwise they also get sold.
You'll get a few more inventory slots as your EGO level rises and you can also buy more space with bits (real money).
Also of note: weapon damage doesn't really upgrade. You may start with a sniper rifle that does 1000 damage and fires once a second and get a similar sniper rifle at 400 EGO rank that and it will have the same damage stats. The starter weapon may work out well for you until much later, if you're unable to find or procure a different weapon or higher level version of the same weapon.
The "higher level" version of a weapon may have more mod slots or elemental damage or any number of differences, including the ability to add mod slots. Also, as you use a specific weapon, you will unlock a feature like 0.5% faster reload or less recoil. I'm not sure if the unlocked bonus is always random or what determines the nature of the bonus.
I have a weapon that only shoots once and received a completely useless recoil bonus when I leveled it up. Once I find another weapon like it, I'll level that one up and hope for better results.
Its random what you get. Theres a vendor who sells blue assault rifles of the exact same type. I've gone through 5-6 of them for the xp grind to AR 10, and each one has a different bonus. You just have to level the rifle, when it reaches max level it'll have a small bonus underneath the xp bar telling you what it does. Damage reduction while reloading is nice, so is crit multiplier while crouching.

I've been tearing it up with the default LMG. Took 1st place in two of the large arkfalls (the ones with the really phallic final boss) and Second place in a third one as well.
edit: and every one of them I joined in when at least half of the preliminary stages were already completed.

The section you speak of I think is the island (San Francisco) to the south across the Golden Gate.
I do think we'll see more places unlock as the show continues though.
I wonder if the games goes on long enough, if there will be multiple Season Passes, connecting with each season of the show.
