Oh my gah. Watched X-Men First Class in 1080p on my iPad. That was way way better than I thought it was after the other X-Men movies. It also looked amazing on the iPad. The iPad's color profile is much better than my monitor's.
Apparently it's supposed to be a new trilogy but the Hunger Games is delaying it. Stupid YA junk!

Student should have known better. And it's one thing if it's a math class, where the TA/professor is out, like, ten minutes of test grading or something, but this is a fucking philosophy course, which means there were papers and shit. The grading of which takes up a substantial amount of what is now wasted time.

I'll admit that I phrased things poorly, and the posts were made as me venting upon receiving the e-mail. But, yeah, the fact that I'm going to have to continue to grade her material until she gives birth, though she may ultimately get an incomplete and never finish the damn class is somewhat frustrating.
But, hey, maybe Variable was right and she'll complete things after she gives birth....however unlikely that is given historical trends.

The church apologized for the deception on Thursday and restored the original photo to the site, but not before Patriarch Kirill weighed in, insisting in an interview with a Russian journalist that he had never worn the watch, and that any photos showing him wearing it must have been doctored to put the watch on his wrist.
The controversy, which erupted Wednesday when attentive Russian bloggers discovered the airbrushing, further stoked anger over the church’s often lavish displays of wealth and power. It also struck yet another blow to the moral authority of Russian officialdom, which has been dwindling rapidly in light of recent scandals involving police abuse, electoral fraud and corruption.
