DM's Best Friend -- Refurbishing an Old Laptop

So I just got my hands on an old laptop (its about 4 years old). I plan on wiping this, putting a fresh install of Windows 7 on it and turning into my GM's best friend.
I will fill it full of audio files, my pathfinder .pdfs, my copy of HeroMachine, etc.
So does anyone have any other suggestions for software to install on here?
