I would never use it on a power reliant character, but on my krogan battlemaster who is basically a soldier since I haven't unlocked that yet and hate vanguards
human sentinel is still great because they are one of the two classes with both warp and throw
human engineer has the two best tech powers and a decent distraction in combat drone
human infiltrator has sticky grenades and can weaken things from cloak with cryo blast
and human soldier is just as shitty as any soldier that isn't batarian

you'd rather have tech armor than stasis?
and combat drone over the geth turret or decoy?
I think I might just be a reverse space racist
Yup.
I guess the power damage and force bonuses at level 5 are pretty cool, but you've got a +50% cooldown penalty in the best of circumstances
seems odd to want that power for a class based around a warp/throw combo
I really like human sentinel. You can either go for a very efficient caster-y build, or you can skip warp, and take the "instant cooldown when detonating explosions' on throw. Then you can just go around at -200% cooldown with heavy-ass guns, and still spam explosions (though weaker ones) when you need to team up with an adept.
Human engineer is fabulous.
And human soldier is a lot of fun if you properly utilize adrenaline rush.
But the cooldown on throw is like... a second and a half anyway. Like, it'll recharge before it even hits the enemy half the time
the very first thing I did with him was kill four geth troopers in one shot, so that was a bit of an unfair bar to set
but I am enamored with reave
so much so that I am direly tempted to violate one of my most sacred taboos
and play asari justicar
justicar doesn't have the insane raw burst that grenade drell does, but you aren't reliant on grenades and once you get the hang of using the bubble offensively you can still do some hideous things with it.
I've been tooling around on mine and if i nail the timing i can solo a banshee on gold in about the time it takes me to cast three reaves. I run 200% recharge and the cooldown reductions on my reave.
If someone else is helping me they just disintegrate

yeah if you've got any kind of sane cooldown, that perk is pointless
Which is why I was saying, it's kinda nice if you're going for a -200% plus tech armor heavy weapons dude
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.
I still don't have any asari or krogan, but I DO have a falcon 7
But I also have a striker 3, so not is all lost

As far as placement goes, a turret can be thrown wherever you feel like (including around corners) so that's handy. However, if you can get a lock-on to an enemy then your drone will immediately appear next to them, without the brief start-up time of the turret or the need to aim a throwing arc. This is especially handy for enemies peeking out of cover.
A co-worker of mine feels the same way, since apparently the reload takes forever.
"If there's three guys, here, there, and over there (imagine the hand gestures), it's impossible to get all of them."
"No it's not. Hit them with Charge, they get knocked back, fire the Crusader."
"But then you have to take a day to reload."
"Nope. Charge the second guy, knock back, melee, blow Barrier, melee again. No reloading, all dead, no problem."
"You forgot the third guy."
"No I didn't. He got taken out by the Asari with the sniper rifle."
"What?"
"You know that would happen."
"Fine."

Now the game is telling me I need to redeem an online pass.
That's...cool.
:?
even at level 1 the thing has a higher DPS than any other weapon iirc
i'm pretty sure the eagle is like, statistically the worst gun
crappiest DPS in the game, and subpar accuracy and recoil
it's a triple non-threat!

Lovin' this
Also, crusader. Not a fan so far.
