PROTOTYPE 2

The original Prototype was a gem of a game from developers Radical Entertainment, giving you the freedom to assume the identity of random npcs, run up buildings, point at soliders to accuse them of being you and fight with your selection of claws, Hulk hands, a big fuck-off arm-blade and more (Informative review below).

Prototype 2 is being released on the 24th of April for PS3 and X360, and for the PC on July 24 (July 30 for Europe) so let's all talk about how we're going to sky-dive as old ladies and generally be mean to New York City.

My problem with the first one was the same problem I have in a lot of those games, namely that I love fucking around but get bored with that and then there isn't much else. Also people were right who said that there were too many moves and button combinations. They were all rad but it was easy to lose track of what you could do after you'd been playing for a while.

the first one doesn't end well but you can start new game+ with all of your powers which means that the helicopters at the beginning you just smash with one Muscle Mass kick

Gotta decide if I want to wait for this to come out on PC or pick it up for the 360- I've got no way to hook it up to the internet right now so I wouldn't get any of the bonus junk. Plus money I don't wanna spend a lot of money, but that's gonna be an issue either way. Hmmm. On the other hand, jump-kicking a helicopter.

I hope they made it so you don't end up just using whipfist constantly though. The other powers were always fun but then I'd get shot and die and just go back to whipfist.

the first one was fun, but I had it for PC, and would get really choppy after a while of playing so I would have to restart the game often

I'm not entirely sure, but I think from reading G&T, that there's a Steam version but it has been pushed back till June or some such. I'll see if I can find the post.
