It was a fantasy book, a trilogy no doubt. Long shot here, so no worries.
I don't remember it that well. I swear it was something like lightbringer.
Main character something like uther. Disfigured, wears a mask, some kind of grand destiny I guess. I think religion was a strong part of the book, and possibly magic/fire?
It's been bugging me for a while now, i read it listening to the album and I listened to the album and it made me think of the book
I was being an idiot. Google eventually gave me the answer it was just confused by Brent Weeks much more recent lightbringer trilogy
