I could use some Smarties. They are virtually unobtainable here in the US due to another candy already named Smarties (known as Rockets elsewhere), so that would be a real help if you can grab some. Thanks, and I'll probably be wearing a shirt with Luigi on it. :)

That I can do! I'm pretty sure I can get a case of them from Costco if anyone else wants some. (Yay for being able to bring something from Canada!)

    Much appreciated, thanks!

Now I need to build up the nerve to ask someone for All Dressed Ruffles...

I have not seen these around for a while...not that I was looking. I will have a look to see if I can supply you with your Ruffle needs as well.
When I was a child I used to lick the red ones to use as lippy, and the green ones to use as eyeshadow. My eyelids would be very sticky!

    lol! That is awesome!!

May I please make a request for something that I'm not sure what they're called exactly.... <.< They're dark lollies... Not chocolate.. I know. -.- They're called bonfire lollies I THINK? They're mollassesy and delicious and a not even remotely US available item usually. I'd rather have them then anything chocolate actually....

So just curious (as I have never done this before) are we planning a meet up to do the big exchange? Or do we just hope that we find the people we are bringing things for. I have planning to bring a case of Smarties with me...but I don't want to bring it and then never actually find the people who want it. (That said, my kids will think I am awesome if I come home with a case of smarties for them to eat)

Last time at PAX East I spent far too much time lugging melting chocolate in my rucksack around the convention centre every single day :( it wasn't much fun and I ended up giving some to Enforcers instead of the intended recipients. This time I'm planning on tweeting where I am on the Friday morning, and if people don't show up I'll give their chocolate to sklomeone else. I'm @LewiePsMunmy so if you've asked for chocolate follow me. Apologies in advance for the political rants! I'llcheck on the schedule after I return home from the Olympics and repost then with a location

Maybe I can get some at the whisky tasting! :D I've got to be more specific, though, I think since the Kinder Surprises are out. (B.S., that is...stupid US regulations. /rant)

Are you still taking requests? I'd love some Curly Wurly, Cadbury Dairy Milk, and Kinder Surprises (if someone is willing to smuggle this in)!

Between this and Cookie Brigade, I think I'm all set for a sugar-coma PAX! Thanks!

Oh I shouldn't post when I'm tired, cos I can't spell! I'm @LewiePsMummy not Munmy on twitter! No its not too late to make requests, but I think Curly Wurlys are foul! I'll try bringing Kinder Eggs with me but I can't guarantee they'll make it!
@vespachica what a good idea, less for me to carry!

I'll be at the keynote and Q&A - I'm planning on asking a question, so if you're going to be there, I'll be easy to spot - an older English woman wearing a tiara and sporting a nifty stck/crutch combo, and probably wearing red. I think I'll do the chocolate stuff immediately after, but til I check the venue map not sure where to do it. I'll update the OP once I'm home from the Olympics.

I'm wondering how much tablet I can bring across before US/Canadian customs think I'm transporting cocaine from Scotland?

Then again, tablet is basically sugar coated cocaine. Hmm.

Scottish Macaroons too. All handmade and in Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon & Lime, Mint, Raspberry and Strawberry & Cream.

This is the shop I'll be bringing stuff from (more shameless promotion): http://www.choco-latte.co.uk

    @Gate28: not a problem.
@MarkWebster: Canadians sell Kinder Eggs! It's the US Customs who don't like them - when I went to PAX East someone tried to bring them from Canada and US Customs opened and smashed every one in front of the person and then confiscated them!

hmm maybe I should have waited until tomorrow for buying choc - there was some stuff cheap in morrisons so I have (all normal sized bars)

    16x crunchie
    8x flake
    4x dairy milk
    4x caramel dairymilk
    4x picnic
10x Crispy M&M's (small packets - I'll get some more of these during the week as the little shop over the road from my house has them)
1x Bag of Jelly Babies (think @skarsol said on irc they wanted some)
6x Star Bar (really surprised no-one has asked for these - I usually have to take as many of these as crunchies on my blizzcon trips)

I'lll pick up some more stuff later in the week depending on what else is needed/whatever I can get in my case :)
