Y'all can record them if you want, I just couldn't be bothered
As someone else said, I thought that website would automatically archived the stream if you checked the appropriate box.
It's a shame too, because I had issues with my connection where you'd occasionally just cut in and out or it would get the jitters. Was hard to watch!
Yeah, it's a shame, on most sites you can just check a box and have it record and store it. I'm sure there must be someway to record it and upload it somewhere else, since I want to be able to watch this in the future.
Lost the stream, did he shoot both with a single bullet? If he didn't I consider that failure.
Your mother considers you a failure.
If you're going to do a hateful, vile task you may as well do it right, and by right I mean the way I fluked that level. It was the one and only time i felt happy playing that game.
I think I can do it, got 396GB of space on my hard drive which should be plenty, and I can just cut it up and put it on youtube in chunks.
Assuming I can get the recording to work correctly.
I guess what I should really do is find a stream that's currently on and do some testing to see if it all works.
Edit:
Maybe I can't, VLC is just crashing every time I try to capture a random stream from own3d.
I guess I'll see if I can get Fraps to do it, since I know I can capture video from that, but right now I'm having trouble getting it to 'look' at the stream.
Hey Tube, did you uncheck the "automatically record broadcast" box when adding your Own3d.tv channel in Xsplit, or did you just leave everything on the default? It's checked by default, and if you didn't change it the files should be in your users folder (mine was at C:\Users\Myname\My Videos\XSplit Recordings).

hmm
I take it you're trying to capture the actual video, rather than just own3D.com/tubect? Sorry if that's obvious to you, just making sure. If you look at the source you should be able to find the actual video.
EDIT: Hmm, the website seems to remove the .swf from the video to use their own player. Probably to stop people capturing the stream.

Yeah, I tried it that way first, when that wasn't working (for the reason you mentioned) I tried using VLC to capture my desktop directly, that way I could just fullscreen a stream and let it record happily, this is what was crashing every time I tried, regardless of the options I set.

Most do, but I don't think this one does.

Although I will say, he should do a lot more LPs. Or at least a podcast. He's very funny and quick-witted, and it's entertaining to hear.

Oh well, I'll see if I can work out how to record it for tomorrow and stick it on youtube or something.
I had the same experience. I'm just attributing that to normal Internet freeze-ups though.
