guild wars 2 is so fucking rad regardless of any issues
they spackled just enough fluff onto the usual MMO formula so that it actually doesn't feel like a WoW clone. Like in the little minute-to-minute actual gameplay.
edit: and I have never played GW1 or even read anyting beyond the most basic info about GW2 before playing it. Was going in blind just to see what the product itself was offering. And damn is it kickass.
I know alot of people watching Towelliee's stream who is doing a 48 hours Childs play stream of GW2 were mad that the multiserver PVP was boring. But that's because so many communities went to the server they were on and I assume the other 2 servers weren't as populated. So this one sever steamrolled the whole map.
And this guy apparently doesnt read about games he buys or at least GW2 and couldn't explain why there was nothing goin on.
you dont even know. I have friends tho are going to the midnight screeneng in ohio who are going to fedex me the special 3d glasses you can get because I want a set of them

in other news i saw the most amazing theatrical production tonight
it was an 80s wrestling style rendition of wagner's the ring cycle
i didn't know what to expect going in but it was one of the best things ever
also they had cans of shitty beer for $2 suggested donation which is exactly what you want to drink when watching something like this
