I've never wanted to strangle someone playing a game on-screen so much. THAT'S NOT HOW YOU WARRIOR FFFFUUUUUUUUU!!!!
Basically, he was playing TERAWoW... run up to monster, click abilities till someone dies.
Giantbomb = Not the best reviewers of the character of any MMOs. It's not really their shtick. And I imagine they are too busy to put in the effort required to figure out the correct way to play every new MMO and it's latest round radical departures from WoW.
I wish TERA was F2P or at least had a trial. I can't resist the call of a good MMO of any caliber, and I want to give it's lauded combat a go, but 60 bucks and a sub this close to other cool stuff and my beloved GW2 ain't going to fly. Sad face.

Only the party and yourself. As for how many, I've yet to run into a wall, and I normally just spam them when waiting on people so by the time they arrive I have a hoard of them that I just leave behind.

Only the party and yourself. As for how many, I've yet to run into a wall, and I normally just spam them when waiting on people so by the time they arrive I have a hoard of them that I just leave behind.
If you're not in a dungeon, people can eventually pick up your Skittles after a fair amount of time has passed (probably the same amount of time it takes for loot to no longer say "That's not yours."). I know this because people have apparently realized that they can drop like a billion Skittles in Lumbertown if they want to (likely trying to annoy people, but who knows) and I was able to eat some of them even though I was obviously not in their party.
plate always looks the best. I wish I wanted to play a plate class. I feel like sorc is spoiling me because I pretty much never have to dodge anything since ~14m is enough to outrange every bam attack while doing full damage.

I think each EU player seems to have a 'buddy code', if you think you can bear the latency (assuming you're in the US), someone here might have one. I was also interested in trying the combat but none of the people i know that play this have any codes left, bah

Sadness is realizing you forgot to talk talk to the quest giver after the 1st cut scene until after the bosses are downed, thereby missing the quests...

Sadness is being a Lancer and getting instant queues, but having to wait for the lockout to clear to enter again
Happiness is laughing like a supervillain at all the DPS with their hour+ queue
I don't know how it is for other dungeons, but just running around I see groups constantly advertising for DPS to join BoL runs. Especially during prime time hours.
Sadness is being a Berserker in LFD queue, waiting 30mins+ for a group, finally getting one, and then the Lancer dropping group/booting you because they don't want to potentially share the loot with you. So now you have to wait another 30mins+ for a group.

I'm enjoying leveling my alts. I'm definitely kind of slacking on my lancer. I also need to stop leveling my zerk or archer for a day so they fall far enough behind so I'm not sitting there literally doing the same quests back to back. Thats just not as fun, even if it all boils down to just 'Kill 10 dudes.'

Got my lancer up to 36. Got my gear level up to 74. I think I'm ready for a CR run. I shall try it tomorrow and it shall be gloriously bad, probably, but more because I won't know any cues.
I'll be 35 after a couple more quests with my Slayer
I'll see about not passing out all day tomorrow to try and catch up
alright mystic seems pretty interesting. maybe I'm still on the honeymoon where my spells actually hurt things but dropping balls everywhere sounds cool
