Yeah, I briefly checked out the store on the US store and there are tons of costumes. You've been Frogster'd. :P
I wasn't actually subbed all that long, but I did buy the CE at the start. I have like 1100 EMP when I checked out the store? Not sure what I'll buy with it when I inevitably start playing again just yet. Hmmm.
So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.
Accidentally joined a lame guild before i thought to check for a PA guild and well, now i have a 2 day timer before I can apply to WANG.
in game toon: Nairebisp lvl 25 war.
I'm running three characters right now (lancer, warrior, archer) but once I get one high enough level to decide to make her my primary, I'll check if there's room in the guild and see if y'all will have me.
Chipmunks are like nature's nipple clamps, I guess?

Think I have 1100 emp. Digital CE preorder and six months of paid play. I signed up for the one year, it gave me a three month subscription and the EME guys did some magic to get my rate reduced.
Fired up a new priest over the weekend. Mine over on the PVP server is just level 24 and even though that is a few hours head start, I can solo that one to 40 and transfer or just start a new one on TR.
The lumbertown rework threw me. Some of the old quests are still there but in different orders and seems like some are gone. Guess they figured people got lost doing circles?
I actually like the rework. Removed a couple of the more annoying quests and made the flow way better.

I'll pop online sometime tonight and remove some of my alts from the guild since there's a character limit. If we still need the room, I can remove all of my alts until I hit 60 w/ my main.

So with all the keys I've been getting from the Valentine's day event, I was wondering if the boxes contents were based on the level of the opener, or just completely random.

Yeah, that area is much much better than I remember. I wonder if they plan to rework any of the other areas.
I wonder too. Though I'm not sure what else to do with other areas, that was the only one that had any quests that really stuck in my mind as annoying time-wasting bullshit. Heck, I don't recall there being hardly any more escort quests after lvl 16-17. (I'm only lvl 45 on my main though, so I could be wrong)
Still though, the tranquilizing pigs quest was the most annoying one. I am not sorry to see that go at all.
now I have class indesiciveness. archer was good, but now the recoil on these skills is crippling. probably go back to sorc, I noticed they give you hail storm a bit earlier now
So after my WoW addiction I promised myself I would never play an MMO ever again and now I'm playing Tera. Mostly due to the combat system. Does it hold up throughout the game?
How do some of the high level lancer abilities look/play? My Lancer right now is level 14 or 15 or something. He's cool, looks like a monster, hasn't died yet. I enjoy tanking in MMOs so it seems like a good fit, but all of his abilities look the same so far for the most part. Does he get much flashier at higher levels?

I'm not the lancer by the way (I'm the healer with the yellow cat emblem you see from time to time) nor have I played one past level 20 or so but from all accounts, tanking is dynamic, challenging and enjoyable. It's also one of those roles that's not too hard to do well but can be incredibly hard to do perfectly.

How is the other tank at actually tanking?
I'm still in love with Lancer tanking at 45. Just the rush of fighting a BAM, blocking its attacks, getting in counter attacks. I'd say it's flashy enough for me at this level. When soloing, I may not kill the fastest, but I go fast enough for me. With some hp/mp regen crystals I get to run from mob to mob giving no fucks. Shield Barrage -> Spring Attack -> Whallop (1st rank at 28) nearly kills any one single mob at my level/gear.
As for Warrior, I don't know as much about it (only 23 on Warr), they have a block skill now (Cross Parry) but I don't feel like I can stand there blocking every hit like a Lancer can. But I do like them having a dodge + the better inherent mobility of their skills + nearly all of their skills reducing damage taken during the skill animation. They seem like they can be very competent tanks in the hands of a good player.

For me, it does. I've got eight characters (one of each class) 5, 5, 6, 20, 23, 24, 24, and 45. The combat is still interesting to me. And I'm now bored to tears of any MMO with the rigid target system like WoW, GW2, or SWtoR use. Not to say that I won't ever play a game of that style ever, but it's got to work a lot harder to keep my attention now. Tera combat just feels much more dynamic, and I love it.
Is the level 20 combat in the prologue a decent indication of how the classes will play even later? I've been playing a slayer and tried a few more classes in the prologue; does any class play nearly as fast as the warrior? It's the only class I tried that I didn't find annoyingly slow.
Yeah, I can only play GW2 with Combat Mod, as it makes the game play more like TERA. Not entirely, but close enough to be fun.
Re: Lancers, that's made me want to pick up mine again. I absolutely loved tanking on him, nothing like being a tiny bunny, the size of the boss' clas, taking hits and not giving a single fuck.

Didn't get a chance to hop online last night, but I'll be on within the next couple of days to prune my alts and destroy things with a giant sword.

Guild Wars 2 needs to have babies with Tera. Babies with huge honking tracts of land and risque adventures as a half naked barbarian who's armor shows more skin then his underthings.
Also, I found a vagina on a monster and maybe an anus. What kind of mad world do we live in?!

My heart couldn't handle that much awesome in one game.

I've been keeping an eye on WildStar.com. My hope is that this game could end up being just that. Either way, it looks to be a fun old time.
http://www.wildstar-online.com you mean? Does it have action combat? That'd be sweet, I was looking forward to it because of the quirky graphics style and humour.
People who are getting huge queues, are any of you Veterans?
I'm trying to gauge whether my super-short queue times (either instant or a few seconds) are because I'm playing on EU side or because Veterans get priority queuing.

I am a free player and watching the number of people ahead of me in the queue go from 734 to 741 tells me that people who have actually paid money for the game get priority. I know that on Tempest Reach when I have a queue Ascension Valley and Celestial Hills probably don't. Did they merge a bunch of older servers into Tempest Reach and Celestial Hills and then create Ascension Valley for Free to Play?
Questing where I am now and watching the LFG channel I am reminded of my days playing Asheron's Call 2 when I see people looking for people for hunting groups and I have no idea what levels they want. Or what they mean since they are giving things names that new players won't understand.

There's limit to number of characters in a guild, right? So the PA guild is pretty damn near full if I'm looking at the right thing?

Completely random, I think.

Here's a lancer tanking the currently last boss in tera:
