Not only was My Blue Heaven written by the wife of Nick Pileggi (writer of Goodfellas) but it's considered to be the sequel in which Henry Hill (character is now named Vincent Antonelli) is now in protective custody, living out his life in the California suburbs. Apparently both screenplays were written at the same time by the husband and wife team, during the same sessions with Henry Hill, getting notes/stories about his life.
