Hah, I should have waited for Metro 2033. Definitely picking up the Square Enix Collection, Just Cause 2 and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light are awesome games.
Yeah, Amazon have been moving more and more into getting Steam keys for non-Steamworks games. Divinity, Hitman games, Bioshock games, and Mafia 1 are all stuff they've contacted the pubslishers about getting Steam keys for, they normally wouldn't register.
edit: hmm I can't seem to find an option to pay by paypal and I'll get charged extra for using my card so it looks like my backlog has dodged a bullet for now

I've been interested in the Battlestation games for a while, but I don't know a single soul who has played them. Anyone have any impressions?

Battlestations Midway? That's the only one I played and it was on Xbox.
It was pretty interesting, but the game was not easy for me. But maybe that was because I was playing on a console. The tutorial is long but you can dive into the first mission (Pearl Harbor) if you feel like it. Every single boat, submarine and airplane can be piloted by you. You can swap between different units on a whim and take control of them, but you give overall commands via a map, completing missions.
Its kind of an Action RTS., but more mission oriented. It's a lot of fun switching between units like being a dive bomber pilot then switching to the nearest battleship once he drops his payload. I live for those kind of games but if you want to play an Action RTS I recommend Sacrifice which is usually 9.99 or the Airmech Alpha/Beta, which is F2P.

It has been said that Amazon will NEVER accept Paypal, and they have never before.

Been playing some Dustforce lately. It's damn good fun. The platforming is flowy fun and the graphics and music are enchanting. My son and I are having a blast passing the controller back and forth. It's becoming a regular addition to our gaming sessions. Thanks again to Viking and PA Chat for the class.
If past Ubisoft sales are any indicators, sale will probably include the Assassin's Creed franchise / Might and Magic / Prince of Persia / Splinter Cell. Hoping that RUSE will go on a big sale though, game looks interesting.
The Whispered World (which will run you 20 bucks on Steam or 15 on GOG), the Commandos series, the Alien and Zombie Shooter series, among others. Only Gravity has the Steam Key but mentioning as it's worth checking the casual bin in general.
I kind of loathe Ubisoft sales. Who buys games at 33 percent? Maybe some last dayers of franchises that didn't go on sale I guess. Which they had put more Tom Clancy stuff on sale. Would've liked Vegas, which is unlikely to get a daily special. Going to guess we're getting an Asscreed, Might and Magic sales, and the last day is a toss up. Maybe Anno given the load of DLC. Far Cry has another game coming soon so maybe that too.

I think someone was asking about Borderlands earlier this week. It's $7.50 on Amazon and it now give steam keys.
Also, just got the pun in "Mayhem" sale.

I think I can help you.
I really disliked the Scarygirl demo on XBLA. Nice graphics but wasn't very fun to play.

Holy cow, this is a good deal. It's a shame Tomb Raider Underworld isn't Steam, but this is easily worth it for Just Cause 2 and Guardian of Light.
Guardian of Light is sooo gooooood
