    Gonna d/l the mod when I get home from work today, this looks like a great mix of wwz and the walking dead and omg i just want to go home and play it now.

    I want to buy this, but I will be gone all friday and weekend with no chance to play. And I would want to play with people, because zombie games always freak me out. I had to play Walking Dead in a party with chat to avoid extreme scary-times.

    Actually, never mind. There's a free trial involved, so I won't be billed until the weekend, when I'll have additional funds.

    Six-core server with 6TB bandwidth and 8GB RAM in Seattle is now being set up.

    I played this for a few hours last night, hobbling around in pitch black dodging silhouettes trying to find my friend, then I ran into a house with flares and approached it. Another guy snuck up behind me but wasn't hostile so we went inside and found a few shotguns and I got a watch.

    I mean, yes, it's a bit of a free-for-all, and I don't mind being killed by someone who's being opportunistic.

    But staying at the coast and shooting people when they spawn (particularly as it seems this server was bugged and was spawning me at the same place repeatedly) is just being a dick for no good reason.

    Okay, the server's downloading the binaries now (at almost 10MB/s, which i'm jealous of.)

    For future reference, you can donate here since apparently this game chews up bandwidth like a mofo. I'm waiting on the DayZ admins to give me a couple of instance codes and then we'll be off to the races.

    Dunno, someone shot me in the head while I was tweaking video settings about 3 feet from where I spawned.
