And I really like it so far.

And this year I finally finished Overseer and The Longest Journey (yes the first one, now working on Dreamfall).
I do wonder how much of the Tex Murphy radio drama and the plot threads from Overseer are going to be used in Tesla Effect.

They're right here, buddy.
So you were worried that you wouldn't be charged at all for backing it if it didn't make it? :P
Uh... yeah.
(I don't really like committing to a KS that might not make it.)
All 8 minutes of it.

I am impressed that they got most of the major actors back. Also, they got ATLUS involved.
"THE" Voice.

Edit: Actually nevermind, it looks like it's just Atlus reposting it into their own channel too.
And of course, a launch trailer:

I'm in.
Also need to get around to Martian Memorandum but that seems to be a bit too much of a pixel hunt at times.
What made those parts terrible for me were the bad controls. How awkward and difficult it was to move your character around made those situations way more stressful than they should have been.
Shadowrun's gonna be damn hard to top, but that was mostly because I hadn't played a game that well written in years. This could live up to it, but that's due to camp value.
The not so good stuff. Well, this one is subjective as to whether it's good or bad, but I think a lot of gamers today won't be a fan. It definitely has the feel of the old games where you wander around aimlessly for a while trying to figure out what to do before you stumble onto the answer. Puzzles have very little description. Some are easy to tell what it wants, others are a lot of trial an error. I spent way too long trying to find the 5 planks at the beginning since everything kind of blended together and they were hard to find. I haven't seen any moon logic yet, though. I also felt some of the jokes felt a little forced, but I've only seen very little on that front. Other stuff got a laugh out of me, so I guess it's a typical Tex Murphy game in that respect.
I played through all of Under a Killing Moon again a month or 2 ago, and part of Pandora Directive (which I've also finished a couple of times previously), so the games are still pretty fresh in my mind. From what I've seen so far, this is the Tex Murphy game we've all been waiting for.
Edit: The game feels tight. Not certain how to solve the puzzle.
Edit: Not the sliding puzzle. Totally nailed that.
If no acceleration is needed, I might be able to get it though.
You can try the demo, but I'm willing to bet you do. It's fully 3D.
