Could you explain how ABSORB and DESTROY work? I thought I maybe had the best ability ever but if neither of them worked on the mafia and absorb didn't work on an element then I was way off, and I may not need to grudge vertroue forever.

My only criticism is that giving each faction a seer made this game pretty much unwinnable for the mafia, even with a busdriver and a thrall, without some really excellent misdirection play.

ABSORB had a chance to convert neutrals, would roleblock the element you were strong against, and would roleblock you for the following night if you tried to absorb an element strong against you

If you used DESTROY, it would kill a neutral or mafia, reverse-seer if you used on element you're weak to, would kill the element you're strong against

it's spelled out better in the excel spreadsheet. look for the tab called #s

And yeah, having seers AND giving the masters the ability to seer in x situations could have been handled better

Ah, okay, so that's kind of what I thought.

Then in actuality we had 6 seers. Just that 3 of the seers died if they found a mafia, but as long as you can get a villager day 1, which everyone seemed to do, that's fine because they know your targets.

Yeah. I had planned for things to work out one way, and they sort of went the complete opposite way

Great working with you, SaberOverEasy. I'm glad I didn't have to kill you.

Woo hoo I ended up winning, Neutral attuned. Tried to soft network a bit at first but all the masters died quick so I just laid low and hoped for the best. Decent game had a few flaws but most of it has been brought up already, I had fun though thanks for running TRV.

The plant seer was me :D

I failed to seer on two days, but still managed to form a network of my team with the help of sportzboy

Pretty sure water needed to kill plant, so I don't know why he was helping so much. I didn't offer him any information after the day when two prostrates had been seered. I knew we didn't need him any longer. In fact, we plotted to get the mafia to help us play kingmaker but they never responded. They would have had a legit chance to come back if they had helped us.

    I was fire :)

The interesting thing about the misstep on day 1 was that it only became a major blunder when Kime vigged Bedlam. Had bedlam survived, we wouldn't have known he was prostrate and wouldn't have looked at that bandwagon nearly as hard. Having a bunch of seers helped, but knowing where to focus them also helped.
Nah, it was a major blunder beforehand. It was just exposed when Kime made an excellent play.

Nobody dodges a wagon. It always comes back.

"An excellent play"?, well thanks! I only killed Bedlam because he was not as reverent of Avatar as he should have been. Thus, PEW PEW PEW. Hahahaha

Yeah, all in all the game was quite good. There were a good number of things to change up for next time, but that's expected on your first one.

Now I want to make a game where every player gets two distinct, randomly assigned roles.

One can be mafia and the other can be village.

Or both can be village, or both mafia.

You have to choose which version of a person you want to vote out, and a player can win if either of their personalities win.
