They're gonna be black and look a bit different though.

I always something like this since I was a kid and now I finally found them.

The wheels are released by clicking a button on the side of the shoe and also retract again by clicking it.

IS THIS COOL OR WHAT? (like, 80's cool)

    When I worked in the Mall and I was bringing up stock from the basement, I purposely tripped kids wearing those kinds of things then said sorry I didn't see them coming cause I couldn't see in front of me.

    All the fucking kids have them over here. First time I saw some kid seemingly glide down an isle in the supermarket I almost shat myself.

    Then I though, man, fuck, I wish I had those when I was a kid.

    When my chucks die I am seriously considering getting a pair as my replacement casual shoes. I was walking down the street the other day and slid on some ice (on purpose, didn't fall) and I realised: those kids have that all the time

    I will be a responsible heely owner, though. I won't just randomly stop in a crowd in Manhattan so I can clear 3 feet ahead of myself to roll for a while. I really wanted to just walk right through those kids.

    When I was a kid the best we had were the light up shoes, or those ConverseFX and it just had some wierd gel bullshit in the tongue of the shoe. What the hell was with those anyway?

    heelys look really hard to learn :(
    I don't want to learn this all new, I can already skate pretty good so I'd rather use something that's more similar to skating.

    The wheel thing really puts me off though.

    I kinda expected it,to be honest,but my heart is broken.

    I really like mine but I have nothing to which I can compare it.

    Edit: The benefit of the ALO ones is that the dock connector will snap right into the ipod. I've never had my soundstation pull out but I suppose it might. Mine is primarily used in the house and car as I don't have a portable amp. The other benefit of the soundstation is you can charge or connect to a computer with any usb cable.
