it's the only major event the video game industry really has in north america so i would say it will always be relevant.
E3 has still pulled off some pretty big shockers recently

And Valve showing up during the Sony thing, which not only did they cancel an E3 appearance publicly that year, but they didn't even have a good relationship with Sony prior to that point, so it was a complete upset of an appearance

That's the worst part about it. There was still a lot of good and promise in both.
And one day, both just sucked. And it came out of nowhere. One day, they both stopped being good. And that's the worst thing, when something good becomes shitty in a day.
no Uncharted 4, if that happens it'll be a next gen thing
I want to see Last of Us, Halo, GTA, I wanna see some AC3 gameplay, I want to see if Nintendo actually makes a really strong pitch for the WiiU/recovers from the 3DS
also I am still holding out hope that we'll see one hardcore Kinect game before the end of the generation
