One of you said Altered Carbon was a good book. I thought it was Bogey but he says it wasn't.

I read the book and now I can't shut up a inner running monologue in my head. The voice thinks that it's a hard boiled detective and it won't shut up,

Now which one of you was it who did this to me?

    The thing about it that makes the book unique is that anyone who can afford it as this "cortical stack" which downloads their conciseness in case they die. So as long as the stack is undamaged, they can be uploaded in a new body.

    That's what prison is. Your conciseness is put on freeze and your body can be rented out by rich folk.
