Firefox and cookies

Hello all, I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.

I currently have Firefox set up to erase all cookies when it closes, however there are a few site's cookies that I would like to keep so that auto-login works. I've tried adding the sites to the 'trusted' list, as well as putting them on the 'exceptions' list as allowed but it keeps erasing them all anyway. On the other hand pandora.com somehow recognizes me whenever I visit even if I've cleared all the cookies.

Is there a way to automatically delete all cookies except those from sites I specify?

Search Mozilla Update for Firefox extensions. I know there is at least one extension that allows you to basically lock specific cookies so they don't get erased. Unfortunately, I don't recall the name of it.
