My suggestions to keep things speedy:
- No gigantic GIF posting inline; please link
- No Youtube embedding (save that for the specific game threads)
All keynote discussion in here as per edict from mod. Don't make individual threads!

This year you should be able to watch the Microsoft keynote via your Xbox 360.

Just remember to include a "Megaton" slot for the biggest news from each, which is usually the closing topic.
NeoGAF has a Nintendo one already.
Last time's were made by a person not-me. From this one:

If someone wants to make a bingo, feel free to make one and I'll throw it into the OP.
I guess there wasn't one ever made for the 2011 one:

(yes I have blatantly recycled the OP. It works(tm))

I'd make the separate conference threads but 4am is way too early for Microsoft and Nintendo's conferences.
weakling, half the fun is with the threads :P
Usually the live discussion for all keynotes happens in the keynote thread (this one, for this year), then someone makes a reaction thread AFTER the conference is over. I think that works out pretty well since the general mish mash of reaction posts and live posting accumulates over here, while the keynote threads go at an easier pace and you don't have to use a shovel to dig out actual conversation. But I'm not a mod so I can't really stop you :P
Oh I know, I remember last years threads but I'd still have to watch the conferences to make the threads. :P
But it doesn't matter anyway, I just realised that I'm going to be busy all Wednesday morning. Hopefully I'll get back in time for Sony's conference but if not, I'll be watching all 5 afterwards.
And Dox, if I weren't so busy this week I'd probably try (for Nintendo's anyway, Microsoft's probably won't be worth it) but yeah. It sucks but there's not much I can do about it.
Are people gonna use the IRC channel this year, or are the majority going to stick to this thread now that the forums don't shit themselves when under pressure?
I'll be using the IRC. I can have that and the stream side by side and follow the hype without constantly refreshing.
Good to hear. I plan on using IRC myself because the discussion tends to be better there when the keynotes are live. The short one word "WTF?" reaction comments always flood the threads, and it's impossible to keep up with the current page without constantly refreshing. So I'll be in IRC when the keynotes happen, and in the threads afterwards.

It's anywhere, there's a specific app for it.
Also I think the only way to watch the conferences is to get steadily more drunk from 5.30 onwards, will make the people flailing about for motion stuff that little bit more hilarious.
I always like to put my money where my mouth is on e3 predictions.
That sounds like fun. Maybe do some prop bets two like "Which conference will inspire a meme? Who's gonna be the most batshit? How many minutes will be spent having people flail like the mad to demonstrate the Kinect/Move/Wii U?".
Well, it looks like they are going in the right direction. Much better than that the platform shooter.

The cards should be roughly balanced such that bingos are equally likely in all directions, with a slightly higher chance for 'free space' lines.
At the bottom there's a dropdown to select which conference you want, plus difficulty. I'm probably going to go with one of each type. I set it to default to Microsoft... back when Microsoft were up first!
Does Nintendo Direct discussion belong here, too? I'll be getting my cards ready from there onwards.
The clear division from Tuesday's thing implies little to no games being shown to me, so we'll just have to see if they have any surprises up their sleeve on the hardware.
I mean it is half term so no work but 2:00am for what is looking like a lesser E3
I dunno
Hmmmm, I'm not seeing any E3 stuff on Spike until the MS conference. Maybe I missed it.
(Please do not gift. My game bank is already full.)
Nintendo's main conference is on Spike which is a day after MS's. I'm suggesting that Nintendo won't want to spend time talking about Menu's given the time allotted and given the audience. Such stuff would more likely pop up during other times such as during Nintendo Direct.
Nintendo about to shoot off some hype-spray at us in the next few hours. Woot. Hoping they reveal the WiiU's new design tonight. I'm mostly interested in the Animal Crossing/3DS launch date, but I don't think I will get that until the 5th or 6th.
I always loved random bingo cards, as opposed to the static ones, but there's things on yours that are subjective like "bored press" and "Microsoft Wins E3." Stick with the announcements for inspiration and clearly identifiable tropes like Special Guest, or "COD Game gets a Demo." What the hell is the Kinectimals one with the kid playing and the Shawn Michaels .gif supposed to be? What's the trigger for checking that fantasy scenario off?
@Fyrewulff I made the 2010 Bingo cards. Come on, son. Maybe I'll hack together a couple this year, but it's all up in the air on announcements from what I'm seeing.
Until they got on board with Wasteland 2, I was getting the sense it might also be Obsidian's last hurrah. It still might, not sure how the compensation breaks down, but in any case I can't see a South Park game being particularly helpful for them.

Tomorrow night 2am, they're last I believe.
edit: So Tuesday morning.
I believe I had him clocked at around 6 audible appearances last year.
I predict no less than two or three at tomorrow's MS conference. Three or four tops with EA and Ubisoft.

I think this is what happened as well. If they are actually involved in the writing and decision making this time, it will turn out way better.
It may end up being on par with this adaptation:

If it's only 90 minutes, then for the first time I may be able to catch every single one of the big conferences this year
If it's longer than that I'll miss the butt end of it where they announce a new Punch-Out and Donkey Kong Country for 3DS
90 minutes sounds about right, I think..I don't remember any of the "big" conferences being longer than 2 hours.
Edit: 30 minutes till the Nintendo Direct thingy. Gentlemen, adjust your bodies to the "Ready" position.
