How do I wall art?

I'm living in a new place now and I have more space, problem is a lot of that space is pretty bland. Does anyone know any sites where I can order some decent stuff to put on my walls? In an ideal world I'd love to find some video game related pictures but really I'm just looking for a trustworthy site that won't scam me or screw me around with delivery.

I should also point out I'm in the UK.

You ahould pick up stuff from the local game store. Posters. Promotional materials. There isnt really high end video game wall art to buy.

and I wonder about my neighbors even though I don't have them
but they're listening to every word I say

I want to buy about half of the posters listed on this site.

Don't know if there are any videogames ones, but bunch of nerdy movies/tv shows and stuff.

But I think they are all sold by the artists and might not be as reputable

I don't know about international shipping really, but at deviantART.com Print Shop, you can get some really awesome stuff, framed and unframed.

Well I dunno about high end stuff exactly but I was thinking more along the lines of prints. Not really after posters as such, they're pretty easy to get hold of if I wanted them. Right now I'm shopping around seeing what's available but I don't know where to start looking.

You should look into wall decals. My friends are happy with theirs.

    www.etsy.com - wall decals

I suggest also that you ask a friend to help put these up. It's a sticky situation for one, but when there are two people it's really more of a good bonding experience.

    Have fun!

You can get huge prints from that Deviant Art link there. Get just about any style of art you can think of and go with unframed and just nail or tack up yourself to save money.

Don't I know it. Recently my sister had a picture she took blown up and put on canvas, I put it up and it was a bit of a trial but I got there in the end. Still, it looked pretty sweet and I want something like that for my walls.

It looks good but I can't see anything about shipping to the UK.

Looks like they do ship to UK, and I guess whatever standard charges you might expect. Sorry, I have never shipped anything outside the US, so I'm quite typically American and unaware of what those charges might be.

DeviantART is one of THE primary art websites on the internet, and has been for years... so yeah, they ship prints to the UK (as well as everywhere else). Basically anybody on DA can set their image so it can be bought from DA's print shop (in whichever forms and sizes they desire) and then DA will happily ship stuff to whoever orders a print from just about anywhere. It's not the artist shipping it when you order from their print shop, so location shouldn't be any problem (it's not like Amazon or eBay where people have to go through shipping their own stuff, and therefore might refuse to ship outside the US or something). Well, aside from shipping costs, of course, but I'm sure that you can see how much shipping would cost you somewhere on their site (I haven't looked for a while so I don't remember exactly). At the very least, if you put something in your cart and started going through the order process without actually going through with buying it, it would naturally show you your shipping costs before you'd have to pay for anything. It should be pretty reasonable... it definitely is as far as I've heard.

One of the upsides to DA, of course, is the fact that on top of all the other types of awesome art, it's FULL of fanart for games. Some of it is actually even GOOD! :P I kid, I kid. I guess there could also be official art from certain games if they're indie enough. Or if one of the artists for a big game decided to make their own page, which they occasionally do.
