Hey...HEY! True Blood season 5 premieres tonight on HBO! Fucking love this show! Let's take a look at some of the characters.
Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse
Stephen Moyer as Bill Compton
Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman
Rutina Wesley as Tara Thornton
Ryan Kwanten as Jason Stackhouse
Nelsan Ellis as Lafayette Reynolds
Sam Trammel as Sam Merlotte
Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica Hamby
Joe Manganiello as Alcide Herveaux
AND MANY MORE!
I'm not going to go too deep into the story because I assume there are still people here who haven't seen the show that want to.
Let's keep spoilers spoilered no matter how far back. I don't care if season 1 was 5 years ago, let's not ruin it for other people.
Lafayette is the best character.
Jessica is the hottest vampire
Eric is better than Bill.
Alcide is the best looking dude and he and I have the same body.

Also sometimes if I hear there's an especially hot episode I watch it.
Embarrassing but true!
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
Also, I've read some of the books and they change so much from the book and all the changes are better. EXAMPLE in the books
Because I watched the first couple of seasons intermittently and read some of the books a couple of years ago.
So now they're all merged into some bizarre fanfiction-esque plot goop in my head.
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
it was all moody and dark and intense
He's a tremendously talented actor, I mean him no disrespect, but that commercial did not use his likeness to a frightening effect at all.
HOLLYWOOD RALLYS BEHIND OBAMA'S GAY AGENDA
And I cant help but think that it was written to be condesending on purpose.
was season four any better
because it was a centerless awful piece of shit
lafayette was getting wizard powers which I hated because I liked that he was the one hyper-competent human on the show
sookie was being criminally stupid and a smug asshole all the time
bill was being a sap, eric was being a giant mary sue who everyone loves all the time and maybe seeing godric's ghost? or something?
they didn't kill the vampire king or whatever because he was too popular of a character so they put him in concrete and god I hated that because it was such a cowardly writing decision and also stupid in-universe; eric didn't even stay in that concrete one night
and also werewolves and fucking meth-addict werepanthers and maybe jessica and hoyt were going to get killed by hoyt's dumb mom or something
oh and jesus I hated the vampire queen lady, she was the worst actress on the show, jesus christ she was bad
and none of these stupid plots had any goddamn thing to do with one another because the show had zero center and was basically structured like a soap opera and the finale was so stupid and bad and had bill and the vampire queen jump in the air for a matrix shot and I said fuck this show
Actually
And I agree with it being stupid though, they straight up said he wasn't going to be in there long. The only good thing is according to the previews they're implying that somebody freed him, which is at least a good mystery addition to the Russell storyline.
Steam
But yeah, that made the writing decision look even worse.
Steam
but that made it worse, yeah
I mean, it only takes one person
are you telling me NO ONE is going to try to free like one of the strongest/oldest vampires alive, out of either some old debt, affection, or new ambition? it was just dumbdumbdumb
alcide can get it
I wish showtime had a better online service- so many things to catch up on, and the t.v. is not available at the moment.
Heck yeah it is.
Steam
Nah, not at all. These are very unbroody vampires.

Looking forward to season 5
What spring does with the cherry trees.
i thought it was stupid
then i saw the trailer
now i'm kinda interested
Not only was that a smart move, it was also brilliantly done. I had read the books before I watched the show. The first season followed the first book very closely. They seemed to be setting the second season up the same way and then boom! Massive change from the book. It really made me sit up and take notice.
