[BF3] All Premiums has the Aftermaths - Crossbows and gunvans, ho!

It's not. We used it for a long time. When people want to play Conquest64, they are looking for a 64 player server. Most people won't see an 8 player server and those that do, tend to ignore them. IMO, it does not help fill the server.
On the other hand, it fed my MP5 about 40 kills.
Can't you set the lower bound on the plugin so it doesn't go below 16, or 32?
There were a few that I felt didn't warrant the unlock from the Karkand, and I don't have all the time in the world to play so just wondering if there were some that stand out in the new set.

This is true. However I don't run into too many situations where I can spot and then go after them. Most of the time, if I see them, they are in my face and I need to kill them. If I take time to spot them, they have a huge advantage and will most likely kill me.
However I am speaking from using an Xbox controller where spotting requires me to hit the select button. I assume this is much more of a movement problem then with spotting on the computer.
That's what I'm wondering; like say we set it at 24 at the lowest and run a mix of squad rush and CQ or something, then ramp up to 32 and finally 64.
I was thinking that we would run it at 24 for CQ, once we hit the 24th person it will do an on-the-spot switch to conquest
I think we're saying the same thing; I'll install that and the other plugins tonight and we'll experiment.
Penny Arcade Angry Dome
1-24 players, Close Quarters
25-64 players Conquest
If we took Angry Dome out of the title, we could use
Penny Arcade |1-24 players Close Quarters|25-64 Conquest
Lets get the ideas flying.

Supposedly in the fall.

Two questions:
1) How is premium a train wreck?
-It saves you money if you are going to get all of the expansions and then even gives you more stuff on top of that. None of which give you an advantage in game so it isn't pay to win and it is only a one time payment.
and
2) Why not give it a try?
-I can understand that CQ may not be your thing since this is BattleFIELD and not BattleOFFICE. I however love BF3 and was willing to give it a try. It is crazy fun and a good change up. I still like the old maps but something new/different is always good to me. Even if I didn't get it, I would have gotten it for the guns.
Sorry, not trying to be rude or anything, just genuinely curious.
Well, it does let you cut in line if theres a server queue (but youre still behind server donors, if the server is set up for that sort of thing) which I find to be an in game advantage (because it gets me in game!). But its totally worth it.
Also, the M417 is a bit OP.
Calling it Premium just gives people the wrong idea about what it actually is
Fair enough. Though the M417 isn't crazy terrible and the line cutting thing isn't like a easy win button. (Though yes, that is in advantage as you get more play time.)
You can reset your stats, you get special camos and dogtags, you get into servers quicker because your queue has priority...I think Premium is pretty ok.
Karkand was great, people seem to be liking CQ a lot, but I don't know about the rest. I guess they'll probably be good. If I can scrounge up the cash I'll make the dive.
The real question is whether or not the expansions are actually worth $15 a piece. Though stuff like this never goes on sale so it's either buy it at this price or don't, I guess.
They should have called it what it really is. Preoder the DLC at a discount.
It is ACTUALLY a good deal. Like, it actually saves you money IF you are 100% certain you will pick up all the DLC.
There is NOTHING you can complain about with Premium.
But, as we can see, people are sure going to try...
Except the fact that DICE once said:
I just wanted to troll THAT GUY & imagine the vein start popping out of his forehead.
Also, "members" is spelled wrong on the DOME description. Bad grammar/spelling reflects ill upon our refined image of quality mans-shooting gents.
That's what I said
But one of the 5 expansions focuses on close combat! EA is turning Battlefield into CoD!
Also, Satan may be involved in there somewhere.
No sir, I don't like it.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of it either. It is a good idea, it just doesn't work well in BF3. I also think that some of the guns (see: MK3A1 w/ frag rounds and Grenade Launcher) make it worse than it actually is. This is one thing that CoD does better.
Excuse me while I go take a shower now for saying that because I feel really, really dirty.
It's an ok deal, but it's nothing spectacular.
- Everyone owns Back to Karkand already
- CQ, Armored Kill and End Game are $15 each a la carte
- LOL more single player Battlefield (Aftermath)
So assuming you do want every real new expansion pack, then it's $45. So $5 gets you 5 new weapons, more stupid single player crap, and slightly early access.
For me, I can skip the 5 extra weapons. Early access is fine, but I don't need it. And lol battlefield single player (though it'll probably come with a co-op mission or something...whatever).
There is nothing released by DICE that would indicate it's single player only content.
The way it was originally described, it sounded like it.
But now I found elsewhere that it may also include MP maps.
I suppose if that is the case, then Premium IS a really good deal.
