If you don't people will think you are a scrub. You don't want to be a scrub do you?
Can I trade my Steward in for a House Carl?
Only if he's named Gustav.
I used to be a premium member like you, then I took a .308 to the knee.
Peasants.
Please don't kill me too many times.
I mean, how can you even come up with the idea of there being singleplayer DLC for this? It's an entire weird notion.

It's still an issue with just 16 players. Played a few games earlier of 8v8 and a number of times we'd be defending a flag or whatever and some poor schmuck would spawn right in the middle of our squad and get shot in the face

I think this whole premium thing sucks because I'm not positive I want to buy all the DLC's. The only one I am sure I want is Armored Kill, and while I will probably wind up buying at least one of the other two remaining ones, I have a real problem dropping the price of a new game up front for material a year+ away in development (which I may not even want, as was the case w/ CQ).
So my options are to either:
A) just cave and pay $50 for premium so I can play w/ people I know, even though it could wind up actually costing me $5-$35 for stuff I don't want.
not play with people I know (and thus probably much less in general) until AK comes out.
I don't really like either of those.
I'm not saying EA is evil or Premium is the worst thing ever, but it sure sucks if you're not positive you're going to be playing BF3 in 18 months.
I guess it all comes down to the fact that I can't/don't want to buy shit I have no idea whether or not I'll use.
edit: and for the record I do think having weapons non-premium people won't have for several days on top of prioritized queues qualifies as an "advantage"
and like I said, my whole appreciation of Battlefield is all about jets, attack choppers, tanks, and infantry working as a unit to take out objectives/vehicles. If Close Quarters brings any of that to the table, I will definitely sit down.

The fact that it is shit should have no relevance to me, but now it does. Are you happy emp? I hope you are because someone needs to be!
Well, I feel shitty about my SPM because some people have theirs in the triple digits.

Fair enough. Thank you for satisfying my curiosity. Makes sense if you aren't sure what you will be doing down the road. As for the "advantage", i can understand it as an "advantage", but it isn't a pay 2 win format is what I was getting at. I can understand that it is a bit of a leg up however.

If youre connected to a server youre fine, but if you disconnect you wont be able to reconnect.
Well, now you can, servers are back up (for pc, xbox and ps3).
Dome time.
Ditto. Also god damn you for knifing me each time I had just managed to get off the last sniper rifle and to the grenade launcher. You put me back on that damn rifle three times...
Except that it really isn't an advantage. The starter weapons on all classes are some of the best in the entire game.
Now how do I find The Angry Dome for Xbox folks? I searched it and nothing came up. Is it private?
