I've got to hand it to someone in Sony's marketing department. After the flub of alliwantforxmas I didn't think they'd jump back into a pseudo-real world campaign so quickly again.

But it appears they chose to, after embedding tongue firmly into cheek.

I give you:

BATTLE OF THE GODS

Possibly the most embarassing thing I've ever had the misfortune to see. I think I may have injured myself laughing. God bless these folks - it took guts.

p.s. look for Chubby Kratos. He grills a mean steak.

    I didn't find it funny at all. In fact, it looks damn neat and kinda fun.

    Actually, Zeus was pretty funny while throwing lighting and shouting at the top of his lungs.

    This is one of those things that looks fun, and secretly any gamer or fantasy enthusiast might desire to try it, but there is a fucking line and everyone knows shit like that is crossing the line.

    My brother has been doing SCA type stuff a bit. I always wanted to get into it, but the out of shape factor hurts.

    These guys, if you listen to them, take it REALLY serious.

    Listen to Colossus's story. Dude's got an ego as big as a 300 foot statue, but by the sounds of it he can back it up.

    Oh man, this is by far one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Chubby Kratos keeps cracking me up with his tactic of flailing his arms around and running straight for the other guy.

    You know what's the only thing that could possibly top this? A Final Fantasy larp. Lord, could you imagine that? I would pay good money to see that.

    Check out the other tabs, where they go over the rules, the epic battle, all that. I think that explains more about how awesome LARP'ing is than the Mortal Kombat moments.
