Uh, Syndalis, You realize it uses the same sweetener as Coke Zero, right? Sucralose?
I mean, if by the "bad stuff" associated with diet soda, you're referring to the stuff about aspartame specifically, that's one thing; but if you're referring to the stuff about artificial sweeteners, you may as well switch back to Diet Coke.

What am I even looking at, chu?
Also this chat and it's seersucker suits are dedicated to @eddy. The only non-white ever allowed to wear a seersucker.
Sparkling Ice has some sucralose too. But not much. It seems impossible to find anything w/o a little. Aspartame is the worst.
Howso?
I mean, I've read most of the studies I've seen people cite for how terrible aspartame is. Yes, some people have awful reactions to it; the same can be said of peanuts. Yes, it slightly increases your risk of cancer... when taken in megadoses. Are you measuring your intake in gallons? No? Then you don't need to worry about that.

Yeah beyond tasting kind of funky I think I've yet to see actual negative effects of aspartame published.
We're all in this together

Sucralose is one of two artificial sweeteners ruled to be safe by the Center for Science in the Public Interest. And I believe in them.
So... sucralose it is. Not anything else.

Sucralose isn't bad for you. At all.
Phosphoric acid is generally terrible for your teeth and bone density, though, and all soda diet or not has it.

Let's play Mario Kart or something...
The world gives you cancer. The orange juice I had this morning? Vitamins and fruit content reduce my risk, sugar increases my risk. The computer I am typing on? Increased risk. The 20 minutes I sat outside reading my book earlier today? Increased risk of skin cancer due to UV exposure, but vitamin D and mental health bonuses to decrease other risk.
Not worth the freak out unless we are talking something like asbestos or high levels of radiation.

I don't think any of us are freaking out. I just chose to drink this one artificial sweetener instead of the others and so did Syndalis. It didn't really hurt us in any way to make the choice.

I need to dig it up but there was a study about a year ago that showed sugar free drinks don't always produce the results people expect due to the body expecting sugars and then just storing what energy they get when the sugars don't show up. So basically if you really need that coke? Sure do the sugar free but it is better not to drink it at all.

I don't want to go full robot, I want it to be subtle. Maybe I need to just change the gloves
does it taste like coke? I bet it doesn't. I suppose I could taste test. I am the world's foremost expert on what tastes like coca-cola classic.
It is pretty good. Not exactly the same, but pretty damn good.

Sucralose is an amazing thing. I want a big pack of it.
It won't decompose so you can bake with it and stuff.

I had an idea for a Terminator-ish basic body and then varying degrees of armor in the other costume slots.
Color schemes:
some people actually like it
