    I don't understand something.
How could Elizibeth have a kid with will? Isn't he sorta...dead? Well undead with his heart ripped out and placed in a chest. Isn't that some sort of necrophilia?

He's only dead in a loose sense of the word. Also, for that one day I believe he essentially returns to normal, he just has to put his heart back in the chest, hence why he brought it on shore with them.

I bet the whole "day ashore" thing comes with some fringe benefits, such as a working sperm bank, as long as you keep doing your job.

Also, I guess it's possible that they've done it before, although they were pretty pissed at each other most f the movie.

I'm pretty sure those are not equal quality figures

Like, one is larger and costs significantly more

Like, the latter is the cheapo ones that are really short and don't have any accessories (like a gun and such)

Hating on this movie is so trendy.

Because Heaven forbid it might actually have been a pretty boring film!

Except that a lot of people didn't think it was! So what it actually is is sort of a matter of the magical opinions.

And some people's opinions are wrong.

We can now categorize people who are always right and always wrong solely based on their opinion of this movie.

If Borfase doesn't like something, then it's one of those things that it's trendy to dislike.

It's not the type of animation that makes the movie. There are great 3D animated movies, and there are crappy ones. There are great 2D animated movies and there are crappy ones.

Michael Eisner made the same mistake as you, except the other way. He thought that Disney's 2D movies started doing poorly because people wanted to watch CG. It had nothing to do with the fact that it was CG. It was the fact that Eisner basically cut out the creative heart of the animation department in order to save money and they just stopped making great movies (with a couple of exceptions).

Everyone I'e talked to is very happy that Disney is going back to 2D animation and letting Pixar do the 3D stuff.

I mean, I was talking to normal people who aren't big movie buffs and they were fucking ecstatic.

It was indeed very good animation.

In a semi-related story, I watched that animated Chronicles of Riddick thing yesterday. The story was kinda interesting, but dear god the animation sucked so hard. It was obviously done by the Aeon Flux people.

About the thing after the credits.
There was a bit with Tia Dalma and Davy Jones cut from the movie that explained that the captain of the Flying Dutchman would be freed from the ship's curse if his love remained faithful to him for the ten years he couldn't go ashore.

So basically at the very end Will turns back to normal and everybody lives happily ever after.
