On the subject of Jack's Pirating skills: Somoene had a like in the movie something like "Do you think he plans it all out or makes it up as he goes along?"
I think that He is so batshit insane that he thinks he is making it up as he goes along yet it is all in there somewhere in the back of his head.
Also, someone around here said they thought there was too much tripple crossing, yet I feel that really "made the movie".

...and when you are done with that; take a folding
chair to Creation and then suplex the Void.
they are fighting so they can rape and pillage dudes whenever the fuck they want.
It's not like when America says "Fight for freedom"
okay, maybe it is.
I equate it more to the wild west. As romanticized as it may have become in reality everyone was glad when it was over (except the felons and gunfighters).
Yeah I agree. The pirates were fighting for THEIR freedom.
Not some kind of idealic freedom, not some sort of, everyone deserves to be free to do what they want.
No, they were fighting for their personal freedom to roam and pillage the seas and not be under the vice-like grip of the East India Trading company. So, it's not that dumb that they shout "For freedom!" or anything, techincaly they are shouting "For our freedom to own the seas and do whatever the fuck we pirates feel like!" but that's a much longer and more akward battle cry.
You're thinking of a double-action revolver, and yeah, they've been around since the late 1800's. Semi-automatic is a different kind of pistol, though. It uses a magazine and ejects the spent casings. Though you don't have to pull back the hammer on either kind of pistol, they're both constructed and work differently.

He's generally one step ahead of everybody, with some exceptions.
Example: Who has the map to the Fountain of Youth at the end of the movie?
I fucking love "Hoist the Colors"
I think.
It's an awesome homage to Ennio Morricone. I'm liking At Wit's End and Up Is Down a lot more these days. Also any track that has the Davy Jones theme
EDIT: Heh, that's funny because I said DMC.
As in Run.
That remix is the absolute worst thing I've ever heard.

They have to double and triple cross eachother, it's encoded into their little pirate DNA.
god
they are pirates
don't try to make me think they are the good guys, fighting for freedom and love

it is, however, a fight for their own

Half the population smelled of urine all the God-damn time, and every dude carried a semi-automatic, even the nerdy ones.
No thanks.
you honestly think pirates smelled any better? I'll answer this for you; they didn't.
The guy reading off that due process and trial by jury and all that other stuff were done away with
All I could think of was that that "300 = Iraq" retard had to have been all over that scene
Pirates, I am pretty sure, smelled worse, had more skin diseases, and more lice.
Edit: On the bright side, their guns were of the gunpowder-wadding-pellet-ramrod type.
thinking the exact same thing actually

Maybe I'm confused about what semi-automatic means.
Doesn't it mean you can pull the trigger and the hammer cocks itself? I'm pretty sure they had invented that kind of pistol in the 1800s.
But I have been wrong about stuff before, so I don't know.
Edit: Who cares? No one.
No, they are fighting for ale and whores.
chair to Creation and then suplex the Void.
That is vikings.
Pirates fight for rum and whores.
chair to Creation and then suplex the Void.
They're like proto-pirates.
They were being pirates before there were pirates being pirates
